Out of all the apartments I’ve lived at in my days River Oak Apartments has been my absolute favorite. The ladies in the office are so helpful and friendly. The maintenance men are excellent at their job and arrive promptly after putting in a service request and get the job done. My dishwasher stopped working and after the maintenance team looked at it, and realized they couldn’t fix it, they quickly brought me a whole new dishwasher. They truly do take care of their residents.

Some units are really nice. I lived in a two bedroom for two years and had no issues regarding cleanliness and/or pests. However, moving to this current unit had been disappointing and I do not recommend moving here without due diligence.

As a graduate student at UofL on the Health Science Center campus in downtown Louisville, River Oak has been the perfect place for me to call home. I found out about this place online but was blown away by the consistently positive reviews seen and completely understand why many residents have nothing but good things to say. I have lived in this community for about 10 years and still love calling it home! Quite area with a pet friendly atmosphere. I love being in a central point in Louisville that is tucked away but is maybe 10 minutes to any destination due to having all interstate access ramps 2 blocks away

It’s a very peaceful and beautiful area. The apartments are pretty high price though and the bedrooms don’t even have lighting.

Thank you River Oak!
My wife and I spent the last 2 years living at River Oak and loved every bit of it. The location is super convenient with access to the all major highways in the Louisville area. River Oak is also in the heart of Louisville’s best local restaurants and bars. You’ll never get bored with the endless options. I recommend checking out Frankfort Ave and going from there! As far as the apartment homes, they’re modern and updated throughout and the fireplace was a joy for colder months. I’ve always enjoyed walking the property to get our exercise in because the scenery was so nice, but the fitness facility on site is a plus too! We always felt safe while living at River Oak. What we appreciated most was the staff and their ability to communicate with us residents. They always went above and beyond to make River Oak feel like home. While there we enjoyed game nights, good trucks, movie nights, and other seasonal activities. If it had not been but our family growing, we’d still be there. I highly suggest considering making River Oak your next home. Last note, shout out to the maintenance staff for their hard and work and quick follow up!

River Oak apartment community is a great place to live if you want quiet quality apartment living. Off the main traffic route so NO traffic noise but close to everything. Beautiful treed area where nature abounds. highly recommend this community.

I love living at River Oak Apartments! They are kept up better than any apartment complex I have ever lived at. All of the maintenance staff are prompt and efficient as well as friendly.
