Welcome to Asheville, where mountain scenery meets artistic spirit in the heart of Western North Carolina. Situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the confluence of the French Broad and Swannanoa rivers, this mountain city combines outdoor adventure with a thriving arts scene. Downtown features preserved Art Deco architecture housing galleries, restaurants, and breweries, while the historic Montford neighborhood showcases Victorian homes along tree-lined streets. The University of North Carolina at Asheville campus contributes to the city's energy, and the Biltmore Estate stands as a testament to American history. Renters can choose from modern apartments to historic bungalows, with average rents ranging from $1,263 for studios to $2,232 for four-bedroom homes, with rates down about 4.5% over the past year.
The Blue Ridge Parkway and nearby hiking trails provide easy access to outdoor recreation.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Ridge View Apartments
I would not recommend this place at all. Once asset living took over management from keystone, it has gone down hill.Management is horrible, can’t even get stuff fix without waiting forever. Cant even use to the pool yet that we pay from our monthly rent…All In all do NOT come here, unless you love dealing with headaches.
What a great place and value. The team is great and very friendly. Units are large and location is amazing.
Apartments are in decent shape, but raised rent every year and when you move out, good luck getting your safety deposit back. Staff are not helpful, hard to get a hold of, and do a lot of finger-pointing when stuff falls through the cracks.
I have lived here for 3 years and it’s been just alright. Good neighborhood friendly neighbors for the most part. No smoke alarms installed, water pressure sucks especially after 10 pm it’s almost impossible to take a shower. Washer and dryer they installed doesn't fit correctly in the washroom and they installed the water temps incorrectly. Water leaking under sink for 3 years even after numerous complaints and when I mentioned the mold under the sink they told me they would just paint over it if I wanted. Floor not properly installed so panels have shifted and management told me there was nothing they could do to fix it because it was “not their problem” New property manager constantly because they ether get fired or quit often left without someone in the office for months on end. They will cut corners anyway they can get charge an arm and a leg for rent just because of the location.
Manor Ridge Apartments is located close to Merrimon Avenue at the northern end of Asheville in the Woodfin area. Close to beautiful Beaver Lake, a variety of shops and restaurants, and nestled in a quiet community with exceptional views of the Blue Ridge mountains. The apartment is two bedroom and two bath with a good sized living room area with a fireplace, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator and stove (no microwave) and a fair amount of cabinet space. A storage area off the kitchen has washer/dryer hookups and has access to the fusebox, water heater, and hvac. A sliding glass door opens onto a porch with breathtaking views of the mountains. The rent is fairly priced for the area and includes water and trash pickup. Energy bills are typically under $100 per month and Cable/Internet is provided through Charter at about $120/month. The neighbors are friendly and there is plenty of parking and a nice pool at the clubhouse to cool off in after a long hot day.
