Habitable.. and Good for what we need now.
The place isn't the best. It's crying for renovation, and calls for monthly terminators to keep away pests and rodents. But It's near downtown in the otherwise very expensive and beautiful Hyde Park at a rate that is affordable. Our unit is the only one with a shower and we had to supply all of our own appliances, but with our comparatively low rent it's impossible to do better - and that is definitely the most we can afford given the 5-year long waitlist for public housing.
