Eagles don't have it better.
My apartment is at 3,000 feet elevation in the Sierra Nevada foothills. With a west wall of windows, it looks across the grand San Joaquin Valley toward the Pacific Ocean. The coastal mountain range is clearly visible and sunsets are spectacular. It’s a tiny apartment but the covered deck, hanging over a mildly steep drop off, is huge. I think I understand how baby eagles feel; a tiny nest atop a pinnacle with a clear view of the world!
