Property Ratings at Retreat at Stonecrest
To start over 20 cars including mine were broken into and no one to my knowledge was compensated or accommodated. They didnt even attempt to investigate the matter just took everyone's information down and left it at that. Valet trash is a BLATANT lie to say the least. Only thing good about this property is the maintenance team and how quickly they come service your unit, other than that the management team in the office is useless. They put on this act as if they care about your concerns when in reality they could care less and is just waiting for you to leave them alone about your complaints.

The gates do not work, they rusted and been broke down. The siding falling off then thr fire alarm broke and outdoor lights is broke. The community not safe at all. I keep having to report my water heater and ac issues. The trash a problem and there centipedes and mice No body should move here especially for the price. They trippin because the rent increased just because they put down nasty plastic “faux” wood flooring and painted over dirt.
Within the 5 months I’ve lived here there has been 3 shootings in building 9. The first incident was within the first two weeks and the most recent shooting was 3 days ago. The siding on my unit is riddled with bullets which is the same wall as the kitchen in my unit. Had this been a higher caliber gun the bullets would not have only penetrated the kitchen wall but entered and possibly killing me or causing injury. I was sitting on my couch during the shooting in direct alignment with the projectiles in the wall. I understand there is only so much management can do about this however would like to see them start with the obvious such as repairing the front and back gates. These gates are always open, I haven’t had to use my key card in months. The back gate hasn’t worked since I’ve lived here. When I inquired about this community I was sold on the “we’re double gated” to find in fact the community is double gated but serves no purpose when both gates are always open. Secondly, we received no communication from management about the last 2 incidents instead we are getting notified about scholarships. I appreciate the company is investing in our education but I would much rather see investment in safety for their residents including children and the elderly. I understand that the gates may not guarantee another shooting won’t occur but it’s a start and would build a better rapport with your community. After all a gated community is what we we’re promised and was used as a selling pitch before signing my name on that dotted line. This community gets a 5 star for beauty and 2 stars for safety. Since safety takes priority I rate you a 2. Respectfully
I applied over a week ago and have been trying to be in contact with the leasing office about the status of my boyfriend and I application simply because I am out of state trying to relocate so if they needed anything to help with the application I can be right on it. I have been given the run around one moment the property manager isn’t in and they will reach out the next day OR when you call back a day after you were expecting a call the application is in the hands of Gabby who had went on vacation until Tuesday so I call Tuesday 4 times and no one picked up the phone so I had my best friend call and Gabby answered on the first ring I advise Gabby of who I was and the situation and was out on hold for exactly 1 hour and 7 minutes. Save your money on the app fee it’s worthless because you’re never going to be considered
