Property Ratings at Retreat at Schillinger
I love the apartment. Not bothered by anyone. One thing that bothers me is the garbage situation. We pay a monthly fee for garbage pick up and it hardly ever gets picked up. Makes the halls stink.
When I first moved in there we no complaints besides a few scratches and dents I tried to make property manager aware of. Over the first month I had my I’ve make replaced twice. The first time main entrance told me it was due to my freezer being too full and it went into defrost mode after the drain line froze solid Causing my fridge to leak water. The second time they said the freezer was too full even after I cleared it out and it was dripping water inside the fridge. There was a 2nd slow leak and I was a little concerned about mold. I was told due to the evaporation system there would be no worries. 1 month later there was mold. I reported it, maintenance brought in fans to dry the flooring and pulled up the second one the mold. That was by month 3/4 of me being here. This is month 6 and I have water leaking from an overflowed washing machine. I have lived in apartments with issue before, so I know they are going to happen but back to back is a little too much for me being new here
Retreat at Schillinger is close to almost everything. The gate doesn’t work 99% of the time. Would be nice if corporate would come up with something that worked more than it didn’t work. Main areas of the buildings could be kept cleaner. Office staff are very nice. I would definitely recommend living here.
I love it here, everyone’s kind and they are quick to help with whatever we need. Their website is very easy to use and maintenance can be requested through there as well.
This place is wonderful! We had a couple of problems when we were moving in , BUT we got in touch with the front office and we had maintenance workers at our door within the hour!! Everyone is very helpful!
The move in process has been the easiest out of any place I have moved be far. The community is nice, well kept, and the people have been great to be around.
Been here going on two years, and still the same. Great community and staff. Nice community for a young couple to grow and get their start..
It has been good so far… The only main issue right now is our AC is out so it is pretty hot right now… The maintenance guy already told me they are going to fix it within the coming week so hopefully we will have AC soon. Everything else has been completely fine!
The staff here is amazing and very informative and helpful with any questions you may have! My move-in to The Retreat couldn’t have went any better!
Staff is extremely helpful and caring. Will always respond to your concerns in a timely manner. If you have any concerns they are so easy to reach and quick to respond too. Location is safe and quite.
Great experience with all the staff and the community! We are pleased to be here! I would recommend this community to other tenants that can enjoy their stay at their home!
Katie is awesome helped me so much first class service she went above and beyond made everything smooth as it could be. I really appreciate the service and hospitality:)
The only downfalls are not all of the amenities that were promoted on the Facebook page when moving in are available. Would have loved the theatre room or clubhouse. Also wish there was a small park for children- there are a lot here but nowhere to play besides the pool.
Nothing but great things to say about the staff. Made my move stress free with good communications. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
We just renewed our lease for 4th time and are looking forward to another year of calling The Retreat home. We love the community and comfort we find here.
Love it!!!!!!! This place is amazing! I love the pool & valet trash! The staff members are nice & are easy to communicate with. 10/10 experience
This is a great place to live! It is a gated community, but 99% of the time the gate doesn’t work and is always open. That’s the only negative comment I have. I recommend Retreat at Schillinger.
Love this place. Only thing I don't like is the infestation that the building has. Other than that it’s great. Maintenance are great ,nice ,respective and on time.
I absolutely love it here! It's quiet and everybody's friendly. I love the fact that food vendors come out, especially after a long day of working and not wanting to cook. I can't wait to see what the neighborhood has in store for the summer
The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. The areas feels safe which is very important being a single women. I recommend the Retreat to anyone looking for an apartment.
I like it very much from the pricing to the amenities. The apartment is very structured and I like how the ceilings are high up. As well as the bathtubs are spacious and the bathroom is overall nice. The balcony’s are spacious and sturdy and the balcony rails are iron as well as tall and thick; not super close together and the rails aren’t too far apart they are just right in my opinion. The wood on the balcony feels sturdy and maintenance is on call. The floors are sturdy and maintenance is efficient to clean whatever needs to be cleaned. If need-be you can get a new washer! And the newer washers are similar to those of a washer and dryer department store.
Convenient location close to everything including shopping, groceries , Library and more . Wonderful Caring staff that make you feel like family . If you have concerns they are addressed in a timely. Grounds are well maintained along with any maintenance issues . Highly recommend checking them out fir your housing needs
The apartment itself is great! It’s just spacious enough for my little family, and it’s really nicely put together. Other than some heavy-footed upstairs neighbors and all the switches/outlets painted over, I personally love it here. It’s a nice place for a family and pets!
Been here going on two years, everyone is still on top of there job! Maintenance is quick to respond, and so are the ladies in the office.. did I mention how great the community is also.
My husband and I really enjoy living here! Our neighbors quiet and friendly in the halls. The employees are helpful. It's been great! The only issue we have is with tenants not leashing their dogs on walks and not cleaning after their pets. Right now the halls and stairwells has a strong urine odor and there's giant dog poops right next to the doggy waste station. It's ridiculous.
I love living at The Retreat. The property is nice, apartments are spacious and location is ideal. The only issue I have is a very noisy upstairs neighbor.
the leasing agents in the office are kind and helpful! the property is clean, quiet, and peaceful. i feel very welcomed as a resident here!!
We’ve lived here for 3 years. We love it! Staff is always friendly. You can’t ask for a better location. Pool is open all year long. We love taking our dog to the doggie park. Neighbors are quiet & friendly. We give The Retreat 5 stars!
Management is a complete joke! I’ve called and called about the noise above me, and it’s very obvious that they don’t care! So going forward, I’m just gonna give them the noise right back! It cost entirely too much to not have some sort of peace! I understand it’s an apartment and you will have some noise BUT THIS IS A TOTAL DIFFERENT LEVEL OF NOISE! Wasn’t here 3 months before mold was everywhere and it took forever to fix and some of their equipment is still here in the apartment, ridiculous! Makes me feel like nothing was checked before moving in!! Paying for pest control is a complete waste, definitely counting down my time!!!!
Love it best place ever I recommend moving in to the retreat. Everyone is so helpful here. It is nice and spacious here enough room for everybody to come over and hang out. Pet friendly place Its close to all the stores
We have lived here for two years and have had no issues we absolutely love it! We hope to stay here for this next lease and then buy a house but if not we’ll be renewing again!
We have been here almost 3 years now and have enjoyed it so far. We have not experience any issues that were not properly handled. We are happy here.
We’re sad to be moving out in the next couple of months but we’ve really enjoyed our residency here. It’s been a great couple of years at the retreat and great staff as well.
I'm pretty new here and still adjusting. It's been ok, a little noisy upstairs at time, but that's apartment life. I've encountered both nice and cold neighbors, but nothing that will affect my living arrangements as I mainly keep to myself anyway. One complaint is that I just wish there were notices about the elevators not working at certain times. Had to unload a wagon of groceries and haul them upstair. It wasn't easy. Other than that it's all good.
They always say there is no place like home, and that is our experience thus far at The Retreat. We have been here almost 3 years and feel like its a good fit until we decide to purchase our own home.
The complex is quiet for the most part. They need to get rid of valet Trash You don't need no one to take out your trash you could do it yourself. Sometimes they come sometime, they don't. Maintenance can be more stable. They're always short of help but the guys that they do have, are really good and I appreciate them.
Everything is ok. No major issues or complaints. Sometimes it takes a while to get a maintenance job done. The office staff is friendly and helpful
This is a nice place to live. It's close to everything you could need. The only bad thing is that the gate is constantly broke. It's angated community, but the "in" gate is constantly broke and kept open all the time. I'd like the security of it working properly.
I LOVE it here! Everyone is so sweet! The staff are incredible & this apartment has became my own little home. Getting my life started at the retreat has been one of the best decisions I’ve made!
Nice and quiet community to come home to after a long day of work. Would definitely recommend others to come check out the complex for potential residents.
It was been great living here. The staff are great people and are very helpful. The maintenance crew has been great. There are minor issues that come along with living in an apartment complex, but nothing too serious.
This is the easiest move-in I've ever experienced! Everything's l from your electricity to your mail forwarding is iterally taken care of for you before moving in.
Sooo quiet ! Maintenance is fast and efficient. The office ladies are so nice and work hard. The grounds are kept decent (if only residents would use the trash compactor correctly, it’d be a nice nicer). Location is 10/10- so close to every store you need. Neighbors are nice and keep to themselves. Wish there was a little park or playground for kids, or at least some benches at the front, otherwise it’s been great!
It’s so quiet and peaceful. Everyone has been so friendly. The process to move in was super easy. I love how everything is so clean around here even with it being pet friendly
My husband and I just moved into our new apartment a week ago and so far it's been great! Jasmine was very helpful throughout the whole process. She answered all my annoying questions promptly and clearly. We love our new apartment! Our neighbors are quiet. Other tenants been super friendly and kind. We have no real complaints here. The only few hiccups we have are miniscule in comparison to a peaceful space we call home. Such as the patio light needs a new light bulb, the ice machine doesn't work, and our sliding door in one of our room has fallen off it's henges. But those are easily fixable. Other than that it's been great!
This place is such a great place to stay! I highly recommend staying at this apartment complex. Pros is everything is convenient, it is quiet, maintenance is really good with handling any problems. Only con I can think of is the Stair area could be more tidy or cleaned(power washed) more often by staff. But other than that great place!
Living at the retreat has been an amazing experience for me. I’ve never had any issues with any of the staff. The complex is quiet which makes it nice to live at. The staff is amazing and friendly. When you walk into the front office, they call you by name. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live.
Love it here. Nice place Pest control could be better but other than that no problems. Staff and maintenance are always nice and on time
Very friendly staff, always answered my questions with a smile. Apartment was clean and ready for move in. Community as a whole is clean and I will definitely recommend
Lived here 3 years. We love it. Friendly staff. Perfect location. Beautiful pool. Great place for dogs. Friendly neighbors. Great gym. Beautiful landscape
