I've been living in this apartment community for a while now, and overall, I have to say I'm really happy here. It has a great mix of comfort, convenience, and a welcoming environment that makes it feel like home. One of the things I appreciate most is how well-maintained everything is. The grounds are always clean, the landscaping is beautiful, and maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. Every time I’ve needed something fixed, the maintenance team showed up within a day or two, if not sooner, and they always did a great job. The apartment itself is comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The layout makes good use of the space, and the natural light through the windows gives it a nice open feel. Appliances are modern and in great condition, and the insulation must be pretty solid because I rarely hear noise from neighbors. That quiet atmosphere is something I really value.

The Retreat has treated me really well since I got here. I can honestly say the homes are set up in a way that makes sense and even tho I live on the third floor it’s not that bad of a hike up stairs. This place is very modern and homey so it’s great for family’s, people who are in school or whatever walk of life you come from.

My husband and I have lived here for a few months and we have had a great experience so far! All of the staff is very kind and helpful. They are always planning fun events for residents! They keep the property very clean, the only problem sometimes is the trash area can be very messy but that’s because of the residents not the staff.

It's a nice property and the staff is really friendly. They do a fairly good job making sure the grounds are clean and amenities can be used. The only thing I could complain about is that I've lived here for almost a year, and I wish they would pressure wash the breezeways. There are so many webs and dead bugs it just seems it hasn't been done in awhile and seems funny since everything is mostly taken care of. Also, the TV at the pool doesn't work (at least last time I was at the pool grilling) and make sure you bring some grill liners, because they do work, but no one seems to clean the grease off including from the burners. Decent location, even with construction. They do have a back gate which can be VERY convenient when traffic is backed up that will take you to either 1518 or schertz pkwy.

I have lived here for a year now, and I have loved it. The staff and management really make this a nice place to live; they are friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. With these apartments, you can see what you are paying for, which is made even more evident when you see how hard the maintenance staff works to maintain the property. There might be some other reviews that say differently, but I see how much the staff cares through their work. This place is a real hidden gem. Plus, if your car breaks down, there are a bunch of dealerships nearby that can probably help in a pinch.

We recently moved in but since then we have had a great experience! The front office staff are very nice and helpful, the apartment itself was in great condition minus a few little things which we put a work order in for. Our only little complaints are the stairwells going up to the apartments are very dirty and covered in bird poop, they could use a little power wash. But overall we are really loving our spacious apartment and the wonderful community for the price we pay here.

I absolutely love living at Chelsea Retreat! My pup loves going to the dog park and the amenities are always clean. The fact that we are literally less than 5 minutes from H-E-B is a huge perk! We also love how quiet it is here and how incredible the staff is! They are always so friendly. We loved it so much we renewed our lease for a second year!

i love living here, nice neighbors altho they can be loud, but amazing service, it feels like home to me, only issue is with my window i assume it wasnt installed correctly because rain comes in and it's extremely hot in my room

My wife and I have really enjoyed living here. The amenities are plentiful but not overdone and pointlessly adding to the cost of living here. The maintenance staff are professional and fix any issues in a timely manner which is also seen in the office staff's great service and friendly demeanor. The management is quick to alert residents to any and all events they throw or issues the complex has. I'll be sad to move and leave here

The Retreat at Chelsea Park is everything I could ever ask for in an apartment complex, I never have to think of some services or amenities not working, and even if something doesn't break down, maintenance is quick, and efficient! The community is friendly, the complex itself is beautiful, and it's near so many useful businesses. The ONLY thing I can POSSIBLY think to ask is to add vending machines, but that's literally it; not a deal breaker whatsoever. The staff themselves are also very friendly, they give you courtesy calls if you have a balance left on your payment, with time to spare might I add. They generously offer a business center, so if you don't own a computer or a printer, you can take care of your needs there.

Quiet with lots of grass areas for kids to play on. Walking paths are away from the parking areas. Dog park is great. Maintenance helps with all my needs. We’ve enjoyed living here!

I lived here from March 2023 to March 2024 & chose to break my Lease 3 months early because I was left no choice. I always paid my rent BEFORE TIME. I am a retired Veteran so timeliness is very important to me. I tried repeatedly to work with Erin & then she left in January. Then I tried to work with the new management and ultimately the 2 of them worked together to NOT solve the problem(IMO). In November, on top of the noise complaints (from the new tenants below me; I have video of them singing at 2 am in the morning & photos of them throwing Beer bottles to the grass below) a smell began in my apartment. Now all of a sudden(November 20,2023) I get an email after my complaint stating "We cant do anything if we don't know about it" ....WHAT? Ok. So I begin emailing only. ***Do not do anything VERBAL with them at all! EMAIL ONLY! I have every single email for my records.*** However, this is advertised as a SMOKE FREE APARTMENT COMMUNITY, but this was a very Pungent odor that permeated my apartment at odd times of the day and night and I know it was WEED. Being that I am disabled, I take various medicines. So I was concerned with my family(Me, my mother & daughter) being exposed to second hand smoke from whatever it was they were smoking. I awoke multiple times in November and early December to a completely smoke filled home. Again, I complained multiple times about the weed/hemp/whatever it was to no avail. So, in December I was inconvenienced and had to leave my apartment for Christmas because of the problem NOT being addressed. I do not recommend this complex. Especially not for military members because they do not have a handle on after hour activities at their complex. They also have had multiple car break ins. The gates are constantly not working or damaged. Your toilets also get nasty black gunk no matter how much you clean. The pipes pop, the windows are old so bugs are constantly getting in despite pest control being free & your light bill will average about $180 to $289(summer) a month, the paint chips at the slightest touch, birds constantly are on your porch & poop on your belongings & the A/C unit is so loud you have to turn the tv up or turn the whole a/c unit off when watching tv. Also, don't hang pictures. When you move out you pay $3.00 for every hole. Other apartments at a considerable higher quality aren't this crazy but I paid it. You work hard for your money. Go elsewhere unless this is ok to you.

Love everything about this community. Quiet, friendly and still close to the Forum and Schertz. I can see myself staying here for a few more years. Great place

The apartments have been great and maintenance team is quick to fix any and all problem. Only con is people don't really clean up after their dogs

I am enjoying our time here at The Retreat! It is quiet and everyone is super nice! The maintenance is quick and friendly as well, the managers are always bringing in different things for the residents to do and try like the food trucks, or get togethers at the clubhouse it’s truly a community and i am very greatful for it!

It's a quiet little community. Haven't had any problems really, and seems they fixed most of the light issues. Still a slight problem of people picking up after their dogs but can't really blame the office for that. I enjoy the location too, except in the mornings when 35 south always seems to be backed up and the construction doesn't help either, but again, not the communities fault

I have really enjoyed living here. The floor plans are nicely done, and the amenities are a sweet touch. The only complaints I have are to do with a moody downstairs neighbor and an incident with a marijuana smell in my building-- which management took care of swiftly.
