Reserve Square Apartments

Mice in the units Roaches everywhere Bed bugs Squatters Drug users and homeless hang on the outside of the east building. The trash compactor is broke and has been for 2-3 months. The halls reeks of trash. The elevators are dirty. The buildings has taken a turn from the worse. June 26, moving out.

Love the unit. Love the location, but the place is infested with roaches. I moved in an found a roach my first week. I been here for 7 months and have had pest control come a total of 6 times and I STILL have the problem. Parking is expensive, and since it’s public, the resident assigned floors are always full. Almost impossible to find a spot most days. Besides these things, the apartment is nice

I’ve been living here for 2 years now and the staff has been very helpful. Whenever I have a concern there is always someone available to assist me in a timely manner. Maintenance services are great, Cinesta and the maintenance group do a great job of addressing issues usually within 24-48 hours. I recently transferred into a different unit and the transition was very smooth thanks to Laura and Joe. They worked together to discover my needs and helped me find the perfect apartment. If you’re interested in moving to reserve square you should ask for Joe. He is very professional, responds quickly and courteously to any of my concerns, and even recommended a few restaurants in the area for my wife and I to try. Overall the new staff at reserve square is great!

I have been a resident here going on two years. I have recently upgraded to a three bedroom in the East tower. I had a few complaints in the West tower but they were taken care of ASAP. This moving transition went smooth thanks to Lacey and Laura. To all or whom may be looking: NO WHERE IS PERFECT! You will find something wrong anywhere you move, look for what’s important to your lifestyle and go from there. I am happy here! The amenities kept me here another term. K &D take care of all there properties!

I recently moved to Reserve Square in August of 2015. Having previously lived in Chicago, IL for the past 8 years my expectations of high rise living was pretty set. The initial move in was a little shaky due to us having to move in a day earlier. The apartment wasn't initially ready for move in but...... they were so helpful and accommodating with meeting our requests in a timely manner and getting things fixed and up to my liking. The building itself is in an amazing location and has a lot of amenities at no additional cost. I also received a discount for being a Principal which I truly appreciate. This discount each month covers my utility bill which is a very nice added bonus. If you want the feel of downtown living at a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend Reserve Square.

First things first: you really can't beat Reserve Square's location. You're right around the corner from Play House Square (theaters and restaurants galore), a 5 minute walk from Heinen's Grocery Store, a 10 minute walk from the public library, and a 15 minute walk from Tower City Center. Pharmacies, banks, and other necessities are all within walking distance, as are fun things like bars and stadiums. Reserve Square itself also has some pretty nice amenities: the convenience store on the first floor is surprisingly well stocked, having laundry in the building saves tons of time and effort, and the gym has plenty of weight and cardio machines. The apartments are pretty standard: beige carpet and walls, vertical blinds. Appliances (microwave, fridge, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove and oven) come included, and I haven't had a single problem with any part of my apartment since I've moved in. Maintenance usually responds pretty quickly if something does go wrong. Now for the not so great stuff: the building is seriously understaffed. The staff is generally pretty friendly, though often frazzled because they're overwhelmed with work. The package room is ridiculously slow to process mail, the elevators are pretty much constantly in need of maintenance, moving in is hellish (there's no real freight elevator), and the in-building laundry is ridiculously expensive. In general: Reserve Square is not perfect and suffers from some organizational problems, but the apartments are pretty nice, the amenities convenient, and the location amazing.

The best part about this apartment is that the gym is actually pretty nice for an apartment downtown. And its included which is great, because I would need to find another gym for probably 40 bucks a month if this one sucked. Indoor pool is nice, but I never use it. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in the building that doesn't speak a foreign language just to mention in case that bothers you. Staff is nice but not a very nice apartment. I've seen cock roaches many times, even in the first floor lobby before you get on the elevators.
