The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Reserve at Kirkwood
Decent student living at Reserve At Kirkwood — affordable, friendly staff, close to campus, some noise/maintenance issues but overall solid.
its was very simple and easy to get done. anytime I had questions the office was easy to answer and help in any way they could and was just supwr sweet about it overall.
Living here has been great and comfy. I love that it is animal friendly and the office is always eager to help with whatever questions I have.
i love living at the reserve! it’s quiet and the staff are nice. the only thing i wish was different is laundry. i wish there were washers and dryers in my apartment.
The apartment was filthy when we moved in and we had to clean it. They will not give you your deposit back no matter what. Take pictures of absolutely everything, even if you don't think you need it, as proof. I had pictures of all damage that was done before my son rented and cleaned it top to bottom so it was spotless and they still refused to give me my deposit back. Terrible property management company. There was one person there that was good to work with but the Supervisor was never in or returned my call to discuss the matter. They will send you to collections while you are trying to work with them also. I am trying to warn you not to rent from a terrible company and don't be fooled by how nice the showroom apartment is that they show you, because the other apartments aren't that nice.
Easy application process, affordable rent, the amenities could use some up keep, and the roommate pairing could be improved, but overall great place to live.
I really like living here because I have my own space to myself and I love that I’m so close to college. The only downside is sometimes it can get really loud in the apartment with neighbors but for the most part it’s pretty quiet.
This is my first year at the kirkwood reserve along with being a kirkwood student! So far my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. My apartment was cleaned as much as possible when I moved in, some key things that were broke was my toilet roll holder and my light bulbs burnt out. Within a few days both of those things were fixed! Now there was some water damage underneath the cabinets but that is something they can't really control and they are working on fixing it at this moment. The apartment halls are clean and smell good because of the air fresheners so that's an added plus. I personally have had very good experiences with the people at the desks! When I had a problem with noise coming from another apartment, they had no problem taking action within an hour of me filing that complaint even though they were so busy that day. They are also just some very nice girls to talk to.
It’s been a good place to live. The neighbors are quiet, my roommate is good, and the appliances work. I really can’t complain about anything.
Staff is very helpful and kind. The neighbors are also very kind and respectful. Never loud music or parties going on. Laundry is kinda cheep and they have a nice spot to sit and wait for you clothes at all hours.
Great apartments. It was worth every penny. Only flaw is nothing is very close. Stores are all a 10 minute drive away. It's not bad but still.
Very nice neighbors , upstairs are too loud though but everything in the apartment is nice and was working. Haven’t gotten a chance to explore much
The apartment was cleaned well but some spots were missed. Some elements suck like the shower head is small and creates weird feeling water jets.
Idk it’s pretty decent here I like it, it’s my first actuall apartment so I am pretty excited to be here I have a good roommate who I’ve known before we lived together so that’s good and the rooms are small but it’s okay I feel comfortable in small places
The move in day was super easy. The team made it go smoothly and explained the information perfectly. Because I this I am confident that me living here will go easy and all my problems will be solved when I need them to.
Everyone seems friendly and helpful! The apartments them selves are pretty nice they were kind of dirty when we moved in but after we cleaned it a great apartment and the amenities seem great!
The apartments themselves are decent. Had a few problems the first day. People are nice but again had issues with communication as well. Washers and dryers also needs attention due to lot of them not working.
I think overall it’s a good place to live. There are definitely some minor issues, but otherwise it looks well taken care of. I haven’t noticed any issues with neighbors or people in other buildings so that’s a big plus.
Neighbors are mostly nice, some rude ones. Maintenance doesn’t do their jobs most of the time. Also, no one knows how to park here so I recommend parking off to the side
Can hear your neighbors, good location, great rent price, amenities are good nor state of the art. Have some issues with mail but not complexes fault.
Okay, here's a longer version: I've been living here for an about a year, and I can honestly say it's been a great experience. One of the best things is the staff; they're always friendly and helpful. Being so close to Kirkwood is a huge plus for me because it makes getting to classes and events super easy. What really makes this place special, though, is the sense of community. I've made some wonderful friends with my neighbors, and we often get together for cookouts and game nights. It's a comfortable, welcoming place to live, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new home.
The apartments are good and the staff are easy to talk to. The only downside is the WiFi can be slow from time to time but at least you’re not paying for it lol. For how much you pay in rent and what you get….its a pretty good deal.
The office staff is super nice! Maintenance has been a little iffy with fixing our smoke detectors and some issues have not been resolved. Our refrigerator has been leaking water and we’ve put work orders in but has not been fixed.
Wish the neighbors were more mindful of people around them. For example, not making the halls smell like weed and stomping with every step. They’ve knocked things off of my table with their steps
When I first moved in i didn’t know what to think about college I was pretty scared at first but once i started to go to the activities I met more people and made some friends and me and my roommate have been getting alone so well
The Staff and amenities here are a 10/10!! Walking distance to Kirkwood, Jimmy Johns, and Scooters! Tons of job opportunities less than 10 minutes away!
It’s a great place. Super close to the community college and other schools. The only downside is that you can hear the neighbors talking and really doing anything.
Everything has been great! It was an easy process to get started and it was a quick turn around time from the day I applied to the time I got approved. There were a few things that needed to be taken care of and maintenance was there quickly to take care of it. All of the staff has been very professional and extremely helpful.
“Great apartment! Clean, quiet, and well-maintained with friendly management. Perfect location and a comfortable place to call home.” Me and my roommate love it
Throughout the year and a half my roommate and I have lived here we have dealt with the smell of weed coming from our neighbors apartment and mice. Last year office staff wasn’t helpful with the problem. Though this year there are new office staff members who have been much more helpful. We like being able to live so close to campus. We also like how our apartment is nice and affordable for college students.
The staff is unhelpful and the laundry room is not properly cleaned and the trim is not properly done and the door where put on by an amateur.
They are good overall, my roommate and I reported having mice and they are slow to respond to that but the rest of it is pretty good. There is a decent amount of space
The apartments aren't bad at all for the price. There is a lot of maintenance needed for the apartments. However the reserve offers a lot of opportunities that most apartment complexes don't have.
I love it here, the staff are very friendly and nice! Everytime I go into the clubhouse they ask me how it’s going. Maintenance also does a good job fixing our problems/issues in the apartment.
Great place to live and a great community! Close to kirkwood campus, office staff are wonderful! Maintenance people are awesome! Spacious apartments!
Overall I would say things are good. Not many run-ins with neighbors but you will hear music, tv, talking, etc on occasion - but it’s what’s expected while living in an apartment.
The staff have been very helpful from general information to the residents of updates and the community needs to maintenance of the building and the club house building.
Maintenence is awful, we have roaches and the pest control they ordered never showed so we have to wait another 2 weeks for them to come. They take a while to do anything about what's wrong with the apartments, "high priority" is the same wait time as submitting something yourself
The staff are all very nice and always willing to help out with any issue you may have. The apartments are also very nice with good amenities
I like how close it is to campus, and how the apartment complex has events like the block party to meet other people who are living in the same complex or building as me and my roommate
So far my experience at The Reserve has been great! All of the employees in the clubhouse are very respectful and so helpful with anything! I would like to personally shoutout Shawn as she has been so very sweet and helpful!!
Toilet overflowed and the water pressure sucks for the sink and shower but everything else is great, air works, nice sized rooms, nice kitchen and living room area and I love the electric locs
Great community! Everything is easy to access and the moving process was very well rounded. The only thing was the paint on the floor that needed to be scraped off when I moved in.
This place is perfect for me and my roomate, and it’s walking distance to the clubhouse. I love the perks and altogether the place. I’m happy to be apart of the community.
I love this apartment! Perfect for me and my roommate! It was a little dirty when we first moved in but nothing a little clean up can’t fix!
Clean, spacious, and calm living area neighbors are friendly and everything works well, there is a lot to do and many exciting opportunities to make friends and meet new people
I love it so far! I’ve noticed a couple marks from previous residence, but I quickly realized it was all okay! My biggest concern is the smell, but roomate and I will make it smell so nice and I will be happy as a clam!
Cozy apartment with modern amenities, friendly neighbors, and a great location. Perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live!
Everyone is very nice and welcoming, we had a lot of help to move the big items, but they didn’t do a great cleaning job between people. Just little things like sweeping and vacuuming
A few issues in the beginning while applying but everything else is great! Would definitely live here again if I had to choose. The workers are very friendly.
