Located between Interstate 805 and Interstate 15, and just 10 miles from Downtown San Diego, Serra Mesa places residents close to the city's major attractions, while enjoying a more relaxed life living in the heart of the city. Some things are good some are not. Apartments are nice and laundry room is convenient, but everything is ridiculously expensive and there are hidden fees to everything

My neighbors are always fighting yelling and very weird There’s no air-conditioning in the apartments and if you want air-conditioning, have to buy a unit yourself

Although the apartment itself i do love so much there is always issues with the water being shut off. there is a lot of suspicious activity, dumpsters are always being ransacked. the management office is not empathetic at all.

Location is great. However, with the plumbing issues this property has, there needs to be on site emergency maintenance. Residents should also not have to pay a monthly fee of pest control when there are still bugs in the apartments.

Tenants don’t treat the property with respect. Many do not pick up after their pets, leave the laundry rooms a mess and leave the pool area a mess.

So far it has been quiet and a big plus that it is pet friendly. Parking here is terrible! I would have gave a full 5 star but because we are only assigned 1 parking per unit and was put on a waiting list for a second parking. Which looks like it may take awhile. Parking on the street side is difficult so sometimes you have to park a mile and a half away. A big down fall

Me and my family were really excited about moving here, when we went on the tour the leasing agent was really nice and personable which was one of the main reasons we trusted we were making the right decision moving here, however we were wrong. we have only been here a month and know we will not be renewing the least at the end of the year, we actually knew that after the second week being here. First off moving into the unit it was left dirty, not clean whatsoever. some of the appliances (stove, dishwasher, fridge) were very dirty, walls in the rooms and shower just not appealing for the move in. They assigned me a parking spot that did not exist. There is definitely someone who sells drugs living in one of these buildings. There is suspicious people parked behind the building at all times of the day. Someone is almost ALWAYS parked in my spot when I get home, and they are VERY suspicious looking. Moving on we were without hot water for like 2 weeks, we had to run the water for minimum 15 min to even get Lukewarm water. After sending numerous messages and receiving "complete" even without the issues being fixed the maintenance manager reached out and was the ONLY helpful person I have encountered while living here. His name is Daniel. By far has communicated with me and ensured whatever maintenance issues I am having they will be resolved. However, the office staff/ property management is HORRIBLE with communication, and I have no faith in them whatsoever. 100 % would not recommend this property to any of my friends/family not even a stranger on the street. Safe to say we are counting down the days for our lease to be up.

I have a renovated unit and it’s pretty good. No bugs, hot water comes quickly, maintenance is responsive when needed. The parking situation is really miserable, and my bedroom window being above the parking lot and street makes for a loud, often-interrupted sleep, which I’m still trying to figure out how to fix. Overall it’s good for the money.

The complex is infested with roaches. I'm clean and organized, however my neighbor is not and I have fumigation 4 times this year and still see roaches. I keep all food on storage bins and take tje trash out several times a day. I make sure there's no food available. The leasing office states all they can do is have pest control treat my apartment but cannot force anyone else to treat their apartment .
