ReNew Apartment experience review We had a great experience being a resident of the ReNew Apartments in Odenton Md. The community was well managed.

If I could give less than 1 star Issues are long reoccurring and never resolved. I’m highly disappointed.

Leak The leak under the sink has been fixed by replacing some parts. I’m not sure if I need to put in another request to have the outside wall fixed. I discussed it with Marvin. He explained what would need to be done. I wasn’t expecting him to do it that day, but I don’t know if I should put in a request about it too. Marvin was very nice and professional, and took care of things as soon as he was aware of what needed to be done.

Maintenance I’m not sure what maintenance work I put in. If referring to the stagnant water and leakage in front of my apartment, the work has not been completed.m Yes, a path was made for the flow, which I appreciate, but no maintenance work has been done to stop the leakage. I just hope the bill hasn’t been coming to me me . The front of my apartment has been blocked off with yellow tape like thing, for weeks now, hence I cannot not go in and out of the apartment through th

Terrible customer service Mailbox broken since before movein date. No access to mailbox for over 2 weeks. No response to any submitted repair requests. Did not provide FOB or pool passes upon initially signing lease. Did not offer any tour of facilities or unit.

Maintenance workers 2 of them awsome Thore ,wayne awsome the lady's in the office are awsome I am happy we have them on our property I beef living year since 2010 I love it here because of the people here

Changes There seems to be a lot of rotation of staff and policies. I wish these changes were made with more clarity. Rent "late"-notices issued less than 24 hours after the first of the month. Ever shifting office personnel is puzzling as well. I am also unsure of building-structure maintenance and what contractors are on hand to assure safety, because I was assured of my apartment's safety despite the large gaping crack that ran across my entire bedroom ceiling. Lot's of changes, need more clarity.

Repair of the closet and the dryer The door of the closet is functioning well after the repairs. The dryer is functioning well too but i will observe it for some moments

The staff exceeded expectations The staff here, led by an amazing team of women, greet you with so much energy it’s like they were trained by Vin Diesel himself. Daisy and the crew make you feel like family—Dom Toretto style. The place is beautiful, lively, and truly welcoming. Every apartment has walls and a door, but not every place has a team like Odenton’s.

Excellent customer service I am relatively unfamiliar with the processing; however, the staff here helped me tremendously throughout the experience.

Dishwasher My dishwasher has been out of commission since 3/29 and it took multiple messages, calls and pestering to get someone to even take a proper look at it. It still doesn’t work and I’m handwashing dishes in 2025.

Impressive The Agent who show the property was very pleasant and helpful. The areas were clean and not a lot of noise.

Ghetto apartments I would run from this place. They fumigate monthly. the building look old and run down the kitchen is the size of a bathroom don’t ask any questions about lease renewals the pricing calendar Will guarantee you pay the most at some point if you decide to stay this place looks old ghetto and infested with rodents

Leak This maintenance man cleaned the clogged pipe and stopped the leak He also got screw out of disposal. No more leak as of today! Thanks

New Living Arrangements with RenewOdenton Very impressed with what RenewOdenton has to offer. The apartments are well maintained and the grounds are immaculate. The leasing staff, especially Marlyn, are very professional and have worked hard to meet my needs. I hope to start fresh by living there very soon.

Better parking Having to scramble for a second spot was always very stressful.

Don’t live here Not very responsive with work orders. Had mold growing for months did not fix. Cracks in ceiling they just painted over it. Work orders that needed completion completed poorly. Office staff not knowledgeable. None of the staff know what they’re doing.

Makes you feel like family I really felt at ease with my grandson being guided by Ms. Marlyn on his first adventure out on his own renting an apartment. She guided us through the whole process.. This process was very important to us since this is his first grown up decision, moving up and on to greater a journey. Ms. Marlyn is a great asset to this community and this property.

Still no Blind for the patio! I’ve asked on several occasions to have one blind replaced and it’s not done yet.

Living I lived here for 19 years. I enjoyed the area it was easy access to everything. I had a few minor problems but I survived. Thanks

All good here! Moved in August 1st. AC was down, but maintenance had it back and up the next day! Everything has been great so far!

Great Place and Responsive Staff Great apartment, love the location and accommodations. Staff has been so nice, and VERY fast to fix any issues! The maintenance team is amazing!

Our organization has had terrible office response. When visiting the office the staff sat chatting and wouldn't acknowledge our presence. They have not returned our deposit and we could not reach them by phone. Unacceptable staff response.

For over a month there have been rodents running rampant through the entire building. Maintenance has not remedied the issue. Two tenants have relocated their families. Rodents in my kids room and nothing has been done

I moved in January 2021. So far, not impressed with service. We have needed multiple things repaired and it often takes multiple calls sometimes for days, to get someone to come out. And be prepared to wait almost an entire day for someone to finally come by. We needed our water heater fixed yesterday they didn't come until later today around 6pm when they were supposed to be here before 4. It's very difficult to make plans or work from home when they never give a set time and often come very late. It took them two days to fix and close the utility door- they have the key- it was left wide open for two days while a severe rainstorm occurred. Then outside of this, we constantly put up with the skunk smell of weed wafting into our apartment, day in and day put, from our next door neighbors. It's all the time, any time of day. Check out other places before you settle on this one. For the rent prices we're paying, we should be getting much better service than we are.

All I can say is that I really, really should have believed the reviews for this place. It was the single worst rental experience of my life. I lost my belongings and sustained a ton of financial expenses due to a massive cockroach infestation issue. The staff here is relentless in their immoral disregard for tenants. I saw the reviews and decided to take a chance. Seriously - don't risk it. There were cockroaches in my refrigerator, dishwasher, shower. They even caused damage to my mattress. The company did the bare minimum and then went after me even though they violated their own leasing terms. Don't take the risk on this place. Absolutely horrible.

I have spent 10 years living in Shelter Cove Apartments. I have found the complex a fair deal in rent, considering the high rent cost in living in DMV area. The apartment complex is clean and well-tended. The grounds keepers are there every day to keep up Shelter Cove's appearance. When asked, the maintenance staff is pretty quick to fix any problem that might arise. The gym equipment is maintained, clean, and safe; through 24-hour security system. The rental office staff are always friendly and helpful.

Moved in here about 2 months ago. Apartment layout and fixtures are nice. We are located on a hillside so our view looks down across woods. Staff has necessary COVID precautions in place. Very impressed with staff. Amenities are clean and open. I use doorman on my iphone for work orders and pay rent. Tina is great in the office!
