Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at ReNew Federal Hill East
Great place to live, just need to give everyone on the lease a parking pass and keep building secure. Other than that cool place to live, very convenient area.
Great move in experience! The move in went really smoothly, everyone was really helpful. The gym is one of my favorite amenities with the convenience and how cleanly and private it is for a quick workout without having to leave the building!
Well-priced, included parking, responsive leasing staff and a prompt and effective maintenance crew with an intuitive online help and maintenance portal make this a great place to live, especially in Baltimore city proper. There's a good number of restaurants and some nice parks nearby as well, so, overall, I've been very happy with my time here.
Living here was great. The cost for the apartments is so much more affordable than the surrounding buildings in the area and you don't lose out on quality apartments. Staff was always quick to respond, maintenance was always quick to help.
Great experience I really liked it a lot I have no comments or criticism I highly recommend this service and would definitely use it again when moving
The staff here is amazing but ever since I've been living here, about six years, the atmosphere has gone downhill. No more resident events. There are a lot of "rules/demands" that now make it feel like we live in a dorm. There is no urgency to keep the courtyard from being a dog park. You kind of just live here in the hopes that you don't get a noise complaint or an email of "what not to do" while living here. Still very nice apartments and the community is clean/safe.
The staff is fantastic, the neighbors are friendly, maintenance requests are resolved quickly, the garage is super convenient. 10/10 experience!
Love it so far. Great property mgmt and facilities mgmt staff. Reasonable rent, great space, and location. My only suggestion would be to add EV chargers as I’ll soon drive an EV and to keep the rent the same price.
So far have loved living here! Great on site management and maintenance. The value you get living here for what you pay is absolutely well worth it!
Love this community. This is my second time living here. Great staff and they always have events for the residents. If you are looking for a fun and safe place to live, then this is it!
I’ve had a good experiences living here over the years. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially Ebony. She is truly wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish the amenities and utilities/kitchen could be updated.
The staff has all been excellent and very helpful! They made the move in process very smooth and were great at helping solve any problems I had and answering any questions.
Smooth move in process, support staff were extremely helpful. Maintenance requests do not go unnoticed and they respond in a timely manner. Super happy I chose to move in to the property. The high ceilings in these apartments make for a better living situation.
Overall, I love it here. My unit is lovely and has everything I want in an apartment. Some minor maintenance needs around the property (door to the garage doesn't shut due to a broken hinge, carpets in the hallway need to be cleaned, broken floor in the service elevator, etc), and it took three months to get a broken window frame replaced. The staff is lovely to deal with though, always friendly and helpful.
Very nice place, in a nice area. Just wish that everyone on the lease was able to get a free parking pass. I shouldn’t have to pay for parking if I live there.
I've lived here for a couple months at this point. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The people who work in the office have been pleasant and helpful with any questions I've had. The parking situation is great. Things are very clean.
I just moved into 1901 and LOVE it. My apartment feels so cozy, and the staff have been very welcoming. I have lived in other apartments in the Baltimore City area, but this is my favorite!
Everything is great! Normal maintenance issues but everything is quick to get fixed and the management team cares about the resident experience deeply!
I’ve lived here for about 4 years now and I continue to enjoy living here! The gym equipment has gotten an upgrade but we could use a better system for the door intercoms, overall a great experience.
Great staff. Clean and safe. Really pet friendly. Convenient location, very walkable area with lots of parks. Inner Harbor is just 30 mins walk.
I love living here! It’s comfortable my children and I feel safe. I feel like they could make some updates to the apartments but overall I enjoy living here.
Had a couple issues with the apartment at move in, but they’ve been fixed quickly and everyone has been very pleasant to work with. Overall I’m pleased so far.
Great experience this far! Staff is very timely and seem to always be there to assist. Common areas are always clean and kept. Cost is well worth what you get!
I've lived in this building almost Five years and one thing I can say is this. It's A great place to live!! The apartments are cozy, the location is perfect and the staff is fantastic!!
Great building and area. Staff is helpful. Clean apartments and common areas. Gym in the building and and walkable distance to restaurants and bars.
The community has many events that you can attend which makes it easy to meet people! The amenities are not up to par and the staff is not very willing to help
I'm really excited to start living here. I'm very impressed with the cleanliness and kindness of everyone who works at the building. It's going to be a great experience!
I just moved in but the experience has been painless and I love the apartment so far. I can’t wait to see what else is available for me to do in this property
Great place to live. Never had any issues. Love it here. Gym, garage parking, good eats, community events- all in one place. Good heat, water, hvac.
It’s been great living here. We have a good amount of space for the money as well as maintenance is definitely responsive. The staff here in closing the rental office are definitely helpful
Great compared to other communities in the area in regards to pricing, amenities and quality of residence. Strongly considering resigning our lease or exploring other available in this same complex.
Best maintance team ever! The front staff is always so helpful and the apartment is very dog friendly. There are a few residents who I wish picked up after their dogs in the courtyard, but that is not the building's fault.
Overall great experience, friendly staff. Safe building and great maintenance. Area is surrounded by plenty of things to do. Building is clean and pretty always getting compliments from my friends !

The people the work and live here are so kind and accommodating. The only problem is that things seem to not work sometimes.. both the garage and the Internet are broken right now. However the staff is always working on fixing it as soon as possible.

Does not respond well to maintenance requests and does not give adequate updates on status of requests. So many issues with appliances as well that have not been properly addressed

I love living here. The location is perfect. The staff is excellent. The spill out from Papi Cuisine is unfortunate. They impede traffic on Wells St. They also block or come up the wrong direction on Marshall St. This to me brings down living in our community.

The facilities are clean and there’s a lot to do in the common areas like a pool table, a rooftop, and ton of hangout spaces. The community is calm and friendly. Mostly everyone has a pet.

Apartment is great overall. Maintenance comes in a timely manner even though I did have some re-occurring sewage issues. Packages are better. Street parking for guests is now pretty annoying as papi cuisine takes all the parking spots

Our apartment is wonderful! They offer a one bedroom apartment that has two bathrooms which makes it perfect for a couple. They are quick to sort out packages and make living easy! As a frequent gym visitor my only reason for 4 stars is the small gym and limited equipment

We have been pretty happy living here the last few years. Our apartment is very cozy and feels just like home. I like the apartment gym as well.
The apartment’s size is very spacious and has a great view of the city from the rooftop. A parking garage is included with your rent, which is extremely nice to have when living in the city. Downsides of this complex include poor pre move-in cleaning (continually found dog hair in the carpet), frequent miscommunication, and understaffing issues.
The maintenence team is great and neighbors are friendly. The community always has something going on. The courtyard furniture could use an update. We have enjoyed living here so far.
