Property Ratings at ReNew Druid Hills
I’ve lived here for nearly two years, during which management has changed three times—TRINITY being the most recent. Just last month, we went over a week without hot water, and during the winter, it’s unreliable and seems to operate on a timer. The building suffers from recurring ceiling leaks and visible water stains, including in the main entryway. Roaches—both brown and black—are a common issue. Overall, the property is outdated and poorly maintained. The only real advantage is the location. If you’re considering moving here, keep looking—this place is not worth it.
There’s no security in this building. A fire broke out and the management company is not cleaning the hallways or the garbage chute where the fire started on 1/1/2025! this management company does not care about its residents.

The management company has changed over the past year or so and we can honestly see a huge difference for the better. The office manager Jeremiah is very resourceful and polite. We recommend Mason Mills to anyone seeking apartments in the North Druid Hills area.
My husband and I have lived at Williamsburg Apartments - now The Square at Mason Mill - in four different apartments, for thirty-one years. They are solid, spacious, and thoughtfully designed apartments. Not cookie cutter. Structural problems have been slow to fix but maintenance is friendly and knowledgeable, and has always responded quickly to minor issues.
Emory Square is awful. The management is terrible and the apartments are barely livable.
Do not live here! It is a great location and price but there is a reason why it is very affordable. The apartments are old and nothing works. Our AC has been out for most of the summer and their solution is giving us a window unit that leaks with every rain and floods the kitchen. Our family was going to stay on more year (if the repairs are done)only to find they are only doing 6 month lease. Why because they are selling the property to be torn down. Do not live here unless you just want to move soon.
