My entire floor of the building has been leaking for two weeks now. Nobody has done anything. They had people paint the hallways instead of fixing. They have one maintenance guy he’s great but they won’t get him help to fix a literal pipe explode under the floor board you call the office and you get connected to another state. I made Breckinridge Square my home nearly five years ago. Even with the management changes, I have no interest in leaving. Awful management. They don’t help. They do maintenance on apartment (like shutting off all the wate) and give you an hour or two notice. They give you BS “violations” on inspections like “having dirty dishes”. Management has changed quite a bit since I have been here. Our roof has water damage and when we complained they only put a tarp on it during a rainy season. Then the roofers came a few weeks later. The damage on our ceiling is awful. They give you the landlord special. Paint all over wood floors and painters tape over ripped paint. People here are sketchy. I’m pretty sure people grow weed in the apartments nearby because I saw grow pods. People stay up late and blast mystic and throw Modelo bottles EVERYWHERE. Not to mention the trash that people leave on their patios. Management is snippety and when you go to them they feel judgmental and rude. The only great people there are the maintenance men. They put in electric car charging stations before fixing the other big issues here. When I ask for help with my drying that the apartment owns they tell me they can’t because there are “emergencies” and take a week to show up and then act like they don’t own the dryer that we pay them for. They hardly answer phones so when you call you probably won’t get an answer. We had a tree fall on a power line wiping out all power to the complex. Took a week to fix but management sent out emails saying “won’t be in the office due to no power” as if very real people aren’t actively living without it. Everyone here suffers with COCKROACHES. You pay for pest control by the way. I am too scared to cook food because the cockroaches come out. Don’t live here. They find a way to shock me every day.

In response to the lease violations and housekeeping, if you have poor housekeeping, we do indeed ask you to clean your apartment, as that is part of your lease agreement. Roof repairs and replacements were made, and tarps are used to protect the roofs from further damage while it's raining until the contractors complete their work. When the power goes out and natural disasters occur, such as trees falling on power lines, it is the utility company that completes that work, and we too are at their mercy until the power comes back on. We're sorry to hear your experience has not met your expectations, however our team works very hard to expedite repairs and support the community. We hope this relationship can improve in the future for the betterment for the community.
Great place to live. Excellent about keeping complex clean, attractive and makes sure maintenance issues are taken care of. The rent is somewhat expensive.

Great community! Management/leasing is very understanding and patient as well as nice in general. Events are created monthly for the community to come together which I love because you can get to know your neighbors and enjoy activities! Prices aren’t bad as well!

So fat my experience with breckenridge square has been great. We had amazing respinse from both people in the office. Fast application process and move in. We even had a toilet leaking and they came immediately after I called to help resolve the issue and even called me the next day to ask me if I was satisfied with the repairs. We are really liking the community so far.

Been here for 4 months , got a bit of a struggle on my first month, but as far as month is going on .. we starting to love here. Maintenance and management are working hard to attain to our needs as far as they can. Great community to live , near express way and everything else you need.

Very nice storage inside the Unit. Downgrade when it comes to responding in maintenance issue. Expect to have insect around the house, been renting for 1 month, I've seen spider, centipede, roly-poly and ants. But the appliances are new , newly painted , Office staff try to help you as far as they can . You can count in them .

Don’t say you’re pet friendly if you don’t accept all breeds. I have the best dog and he happens to be a pit bull. We are looking for a new home but because of the incompetency from this facilities management we cannot live here along with many others. This alone says all I need to know about this community.

I'm not one to leave reviews but i had to say I honestly have not had a pleasant experience with this apartment we were told a certain unit would be available so of course we did our part got the money orders and turned in the application shortly after i went out of town received a call congratulating me on the approval of the apartment and that we were set for a certain move in date. I noticed our date was approaching and i haven't heard any updates tried to call several times with no luck finally i receive a call saying I'm calling to let you know your application was actually denied which was a shock to me because i was given different information i truly believe this apartment didn't have the unit available as promised so in turn i was told I was denied for reasons that made no sense also i don't believe we were properly screened either but with that being said shortly after i was approved instantly for another apartment with ease no run around so please do your research before considering this apartment . My time is very valuable and i felt it was wasted also now im having to go through the process of being refunded for money orders written out to this apartment which has been fun!

One of the team's primary responsibilities is to lease apartments and an apartment becomes available to lease when someone gives notice that they are moving from the apartment they are occupying. We do not accept applications for apartments that are not available unless someone is applying for a wait list. Additionally, a reason for any denial is disclosed in writing to the applicant.
it’s cheaply made and my apartment has so many mistakes that are noticeable. The first day i moved in i found cockroach’s. But overall nice neighborhood and nice staff.

I moved from out of town last year and have been pleased with my choice. I love the upgrades even though the property is older. The size of the unit is great! Any repairs were made in a timely manner and I am always treated kindly.The new gym is awesome.
Can in today on Saturday November 11th and there was a young lady the leasing associate and she had her kid with her! What kind of business let kids come to work with them. I didn’t know they was a daycare as well. Maybe I need a job her so I don’t have to pay for childcare! When I was looking over the rates her phone kept on ringing and instead of waiting until left she would answer and who ever was on the other line she was rude as rude could get. They have very unprofessional people working here. Just for that I wouldn’t live here. Maybe in the future if they get new leaseing. On the other hand they are remodeling the outside making look a lot better more expensive too!
We've been here a little over six months and while it's true the buildings are older, they are spacious and have tons of storage. The great thing about an older complex is that you get older tenants, more seasoned professionals in the office, and a better maintenance team. I think Brekinridge has that. They've helped with any issue we've had quickly and efficiently. While it's true there are so many who don't pick up after their dog, management can only do what they can do... Also, my child can play on the playground or at the pool and I feel pretty good about where they are able to do so. So yes. it is an apartment, but it's an apartment that really does feel like a ranch home.
Picked this because of the large apartments and affordable rent. It's convenient, but feels its age. It's old and hasn't been well kept. In the time I lived there, I saw it go down quickly, and it didn't start out nice. Office staff was lovely.
The staff is nice. Howa ever, the maintenance crew takes an extended amount of time, (months) to reply to maintenance request!! During a rainstorm, the roofs/fireplace leaks water; As well as the parking lots flood. Rent is high. I wouldn't recommend living here. The pool water stays freezing, during the entire summer, most tenants won't pick up after their dogs!!
I just moved in and I love it. So much space. The office people very nice.
