Concord's history with racing is legendary, and the city’s downtown district is just as special. Located about 10 miles from the NASCAR Charlotte Motor Speedway, historic Downtown Concord blends the old and new seamlessly. Downtown Concord features the largest collections of domestic architectural styles in North Carolina, boasting 19th and 20th-century buildings. As the heart of the city, Downtown Concord is packed with theaters, art galleries, shops, and restaurants. Open mic nights and Small Business Saturdays are just two examples of the events held in Downtown year round. Similar to other city centers, Downtown Concord has luxury apartments available for rent, but there are rental options available for every budget as well.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Renaissance Square
Nice property however target of many thefts and suspicious gatherings. Our gym equipments were stolen, had cars broken into, found bullet casings in the parking garage, multiple packages and mails stolen all.the.time. Management team is absolutely horrible and unresponsive. Never have I gotten a response back to a question via email or voicemail. I would need to track someone down at the leasing office during the short work hours. Never got my deposit back for replacement of things that were not damaged by myself (like toilet seat?! are you serious? that is wear and tear that the apartments need to take care of). Never would recommend this place to my friends or family.

Although the maintenance tech are friendly, we have been run around for the last month and a half with no working AC during the height of the summer heatwave. There resolution was to check our closet every time we call in, despite them telling us that it’s an issue with the freon being low. They verbally set dates that they will come back but will not show. We have called the office to ask for updates but they tell us they have NO RECORD of an A/C issue with our unit every time. This leads to them figuring out who said what and transferring calls all day. We were told that all of the AC drip pans were old and rusting and many other residents were having issues as well. Please feel free to sign for a lease if you like living in 85-90 F indoor temps! Our initial issue with the AC was the flooding of our closet. I had to throw a way a few precious art prints and keepsakes. They didn’t have a fix for this for at least two weeks and recommended us to put a bucket under to catch the spray of water. We had to empty this bucket 4-5 times a day, having to wake up in the middle of the night to do so unless we wanted soggy carpets. The funniest thing is the audacity of the maintenance supervisor claiming that it’s hot in the unit and looking at us like WE CHOSE to have it broken. Other things to note: The constant break ins of cars in the garage with no cameras. This also includes the storage you pay extra for! Packages being stolen from the mailroom. I’ve experienced this several times with photo proof of delivery from Amazon. Dog poop in the hallways or stairwell. Apartment-wide fire alarms going off fairly often. Hopefully you're a night owl! Plumbing is iffy—Our drains have been clogged a few times, way past our apartment so it wasn’t a quick fix and took a few days as well. Our initial year here was wonderful, with a few hiccups and easily one of the better apartments (with nice neighbors too!) we have stayed at but it quickly declined into frustration and no resolution. Signing a new lease has been a huge regret of ours. So, for all that is good in the world, save your money! The lack of repairs ovetime have cost us even more and we have not been recompensed.

Hi Peter, thank you for this detailed list of items that are causing you frustrations. When you have time, would you reach out to our leasing manager Kelly at KConner@LegacyPartners.com, because each concern that you mentioned should be discussed thoroughly and to your satisfaction. Thank You.
My wife and I have lived in the Renaissance Apartments for a little over two years. They have been an amazing place to live, and everyday feels like home. The building is kept clean, the residents are all very nice, and the apartments are roomy and quiet. The apartments are spacious, with our bedroom almost being the size of the living room. This gives us a lot of space for furniture without feeling overcrowded. The kitchen is also fantastic, with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. The complex itself is right in the heart of downtown Concord, so you are walking distance from everything you need including coffee shops, a movie theater, restaurants, and even a weekly farmers market. Also just about 5 minutes away is the new Veranda area, which has a Whole Foods, shopping, gym, and great restaurants.
Conveniently located right near downtown, the Plaza. Next to the movies, restaurants, Farmers Market, and music in the park. I've been living here now 2 years, and I really enjoyed the property, the staff is very helpful and quick to respond to your needs. And the property is kept clean. Very convenient to the local BART station as well.
