Remington Place Apartments

We moved into the Azalea back in February and have been really happy here so far. Our first-floor 1 bed/1 bath apartment has a lovely view of the tree line behind the building, and all the windows let in so much natural light—it’s one of our favorite things about the place. We opted for an un-renovated unit, so it has carpet throughout and older appliances, but everything is still in great shape. One downside: there are quite a few spiders, but pest control usually takes care of them for about a month at a time. Also, unlike the upstairs units with fireplaces, ours has a recessed wall where one would be—kind of strange, but we’re planning to use it for our Christmas tree, which will be perfect! The lighting is a bit dim overall, so we’ve found lamps really help brighten up the space. Maintenance has been fantastic—always quick and helpful—and the leasing office staff are absolutely wonderful. It’s always a pleasure interacting with them. Our building is well-maintained both inside and out, and they just repaved the parking lot, which was a nice update. Overall, we’re really enjoying both our apartment and the community. The team here really goes above and beyond!

Well maintained grounds and buildings, responsive maintenance crew, average price, decent size and most units are newly remodeled, new park and bbq area, decent pool. The staff occasionally plan community events. They have a nice gym as well. The property is also close to I-90 and shopping.

my partner called earlier today and was told we could stop by before 6 pm today to tour. we each drove 45 minutes from our locations only to be told that they are closed for training and are unable to catch up because of “you know, the software change” (no I don’t know), and non stop phone calls and people stopping in. The interaction was less than a minute; so quick that I didn’t even have time to process and verbally reply, the agent was already closing the door on our face. We were told we could come back tomorrow for sure but their word doesn’t really mean anything at this point. I hope at least some of those “non-stop” calls and walk-ins are prospective residents, since they just lost two. If this is how they treat future residents, I can’t imagine their response to current residents. don’t bother replying with a generic “sorry that interaction didn’t meet our standards” message, I wouldn’t want you to fall even more behind.

I have been here a little more than 2 years and I absolutely love it here the staff here is super friendly and outgoing The maintenance guys are amazing and they take care of any problems in a Professional timely matter It is a very clean and well kept property They have things here to do for everyone… contests, get together’s, swimming, basketball, workout room and a park for the kids Plus, they are dog, friendly, and family oriented people I highly recommend

I’ve been living at Remington Place Apartments in Schaumburg for almost a year now, and I can confidently say—it’s hands down the best place to live! From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. Jessica and Ashley in the leasing office are absolutely incredible! They made my transition into a new home so seamless and stress-free. Their warm, welcoming nature and constant willingness to help make such a difference. The maintenance here is also top-notch. Neiser, the maintenance guru, is a rock star! Anytime I need something, big or small, he goes above and beyond to make sure it’s handled quickly and efficiently. It’s so reassuring to know that any concerns are addressed promptly. The apartment itself? Amazing! Spacious, comfortable, and designed perfectly for both relaxing and entertaining. The neighbors here are so friendly—it really feels like a community. Plus, the amenities are exactly what I need to make life easier and more enjoyable. Whether I’m hitting the fitness center or enjoying the beautiful surroundings, everything is thoughtfully maintained and convenient. If you're looking for a place that feels like home from day one, with a team that genuinely cares and an atmosphere that fosters comfort and connection, look no further. Remington Place is truly the best of the best!

My time renting at Remington Place has been great! Maintenance is prompt for both routine and urgent matters. My unit is spacious and I barely hear my neighbors (which is a huge upgrade from my last apartment complex). The leasing office staff is very helpful and the events they host are always so welcoming! I wish the gym was open 24 hrs but other than that, I love living here!

Outsides it being a bit pricey (everywhere is now) This place is great. Staff are kind and very quick and responsive and so is the maintenance team. The unit themselves are nice and we have an in unit washer and dryer in its own laundry room. That was a big selling point for me and I’m willing to pay extra bucks for that! Neighborhood is quiet and safe and a bonus as I really love the school my son goes to! Highly recommend!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their management is TERRIBLE, I've lived in many apartments and I've seen a company as shady as Remington Place. A few years ago they never gave us any notice when we needed to let them know if we were moving out, we gave them plenty of notice and they said it wasn't enough and we would have been hit with a massive fee if we moved, so we decided to stay. Then we finally did move out, we cleaned the apartment much better than most people would and they still hit us with a fee over $700. FOR WHAT!? Here we are thinking we could get our deposit back and they hit us with this huge fee when we took much more time than other people would have cleaning up the place. We left phone messages and emails asking to explain the charges and no one will get back to us. We just got another email saying this is the final notice to pay. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY.

I have been impressed with Remington Place in the time I have lived here! Community areas are well-maintained and comfortable to spend time in. Management/maintenance responds quickly if there are questions or concerns. And the location is great! The community itself is peaceful but it's so close to everything.

We have been living at Remington Apartments since 2020 and truly feel like we are at our home sweet home. We are so impressed with the amenities we have, the responsiveness of the office and maintenance staff, as well as, the constant community centered opportunities for the residents to enjoy, such as pool parties, bbq, resident appreciation activities, etc. The dedication of making the property clean and so well maintained is something we appreciate. All of our family and friends comment on how cozy and comfortable they feel when they visit us. We recommend anyone that is looking for a community center apartment complex to deeply consider Remington, you will not be disappointed!

We've lived here for a year now and just renewed our lease. Really appreciate how the office and tenants take the no noise after 10 p.m. seriously. The streets within the complex are also quiet and safe to walk in at night. Really recommend this place!

I have lived here for a little over two months, and it is such a comforting place to live. The office staff are attentive and friendly, and they really make an effort to make it feel like a community. Pool is clean and gym is nice. Also, maintenance requests are fulfilled SO quickly! Very happy with my choice to move here.

Great location and the maintenance service is always available when you need it. I love to use the pool and the volleyball court in the summer. They also have great activities for all the residente during the festivities.

Living here is fine, its definitely not great though, which you would expect with how much they charge in rent. I do live in one of the non-renovated apartment buildings so that may be why, but when we moved in, everything was (and still is) just a little bit broken, still functioning, but not fully together. Between everything being worn down and not fixed before move in, the terrible smell of the apartment hall ways and stairwells in the summers when temps get a bit higher and the fact that most of the gym equipment is so out dated it is unusable, it is SO not worth how much they charge, and it is not even close to what they advertise or what they show you in your tour. The pool is nice though, and everyone is very nice as well. Save your money and rent somewhere cheaper, or actually go find somewhere nice. Don't pay these high rent prices just to live in a apartment that is meh, functioning but always has something wrong with it.

I am a new resident, having just moved in one month ago. I have been amazed by the customer service, attentiveness of maintenance staff, the cleanliness, and the many amenities! The application process, handled by Noy very professionally, was easy and organized. I also received "welcome" presents. I was so surprised! I have already used the pool several times, and I have met many neighbors. I have liked everyone that I have met so far. It's a warm and welcoming place that values community. It is also clear that they utilize high standards in the residents who are welcomed into this community for residency. I feel very safe, which was important to me. Highly recommend!

I've officially lived here on my own for a month now, and I have to say this is a great choice for a first apartment. I have an Azaela unit and it is the perfect size for me. I have a lot of stuff, but even here I have room to grow storage-wise. The location is really nice too because it's so close to the highway, grocery stores, and restaurants. I haven't used the gym yet, but I'm loving the pool area. It's clean and well-kept. Overall I feel safe and taken care of here, even though I am young and living alone for the first time.

I have been a tenant for a short period of time and I wish I was joined Remington Place sooner. They are great and they pay close attention to details. They care about the tenants and their employees are awesome! -Chris

My daughter and I moved in a month ago and so far I love it. The building is clean, neighbors are nice, and my apartment is cozy. l was able to make small changes to my unit with the help of the maintenance men, who by the way are awesome. The front office staff are all friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I are very happy presently ....

This is mine and my girlfriend’s first year moving in together and this place is a dream. Truly a home away from home. Our 2 bedroom has everything we could possibly need (walk in closets, storage, in unit laundry ROOM, large pantry, free parking.... do I need to continue? This facility is A+ from their office staff to maintenance staff. Friendly, fair and efficient. Would recommend to anyone!

We moved in just prior to the start of winter. The apartment is really well made with all the amenities like centralised heating, digital locks on the gate (forget lockouts /key loss as it can be easily replaced by the leasing office), In-Unit washing and drying, large kitchen counters with ample cabinets and the best of all a fireplace in the living room. We had moved to a renovated apartment so every appliance was brand new and made of stainless steel. The place has a tennis court, a volleyball court, a basketball area, a swimming pool and Gym. Due to covid-19 pandemic these things are restricted and sometimes closed based on the rules in the county. The application process was smooth but we missed out on the deal of 2 months free as we had finalized the apartment 3-4 weeks after the first visit. We also lost on the extra referral bonus running at the time of our application because we had the initial tour of the apartment a month back (Which was disappointing and confusing!). Nonetheless we got the manager’s special while booking the apartment and got a month rent free. The apartment and the entire place seem very safe and secure with lock on the main door of each building. The neighbours are also very welcoming and helpful. The leasing office keeps hosting events like we had a pumpkin contest on Halloween and a turkey scavenger hunt on thanksgiving. I would recommend this place, but make sure to book it immediately if you are getting some extra deals as they won’t last long.

The apartment is very cozy and well made. We moved to a renovated apartment, all the appliances and equipment’s are stainless steel and new. The apartment amenities include a gym and an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, basketball, and volleyball court. The management seems helpful we had a few issues prior to move in which was sorted. The people living in the apartments are also very helpful, we once got locked out in our balcony accidently without our phones on us and our new neighbors(we had moved just a week before) made sure that help arrived to us soon. The whole place is filled with greenery with a lot of trees and well-maintained grass lawns. One drawback of the place is that the water heating charges is billed with electricity (In unit water heater). On the other hand, one great upside is the in unit washing machine and dryer, extremely necessary to maintain sanitation during these pandemic times. The place is highly recommended!

We just moved in this weekend. The entire process has been great and the entire staff is a pleasure to work with. It was probably the easiest rental I ever encountered, communication is a breeze. I moved from out of state and I have to say the price is A+, units and buildings are clean, comfortable and have a lot of storage! The only thing I would change is the option for different internet companies and speeds, it is only AT&T with low speed option, no fiber. That aside, I would 100% recommend this complex as it is right off major highways and has every store and restaurant imaginable within a 5-10 minute drive.

Let me just start off with... if I could give 20 stars, I would! It all started a few months ago when I was searching to move somewhere in the Northwestern Suburbs... The Remington Place was one of my very 1st choices because my best friend lives here and she has always raved about how much she loves it... Everything from the responsiveness and timeliness of maintenance requests, to the cleanliness & maintenance of the buildings/property, to the quite and peaceful community! Michael was my leasing agent and from the application process in the beginning, to signing the lease and moving in, he did everything he could to make sure I would be a (future) happy tenant! He was always very professional, communicative, and responsive to my requests/needs (and believe me, that couldn't have been easy hahaha!!) I had a, sort of, major hiccup with moving in and he was able to go above and beyond to turn things around and fix the issue to my satisfaction! The entire staff at The Remington Place was always very helpful and friendly each and every time I called or stopped by!! I am so pleased with the service that I received from Michael that I cannot wait for the opportunity to recommend The Remington (Michael) and refer family and friends! If I could do it all over again, I would choose The Remington Place again!! I can't say THANK YOU enough to Michael and the entire staff at The Remington Place! Sincerely, A very delighted resident!

I have been living at Remington Place Apartments for over a year now. I could not ask for a better location to live in the suburbs. It's near multiple mini malls and only 10mins away from Woodfield mall. The landlord is very responsive on fixing issues with the apartment, their website is very convenient in requesting any apartment issues to fix. The gym is open year round and the pool is very clean. The residents are very quite so no need to worry about apartment or neighbor noises.

Great place to live. Very clean and organized. Gym and leisure area perfect. Quick return when asked for some maintenance.

Love this place! Management is top notch. Everyone is kind and efficient. This is a quiet complex, with fireplaces and modern amenities. There is a gym and pool on site. Washer/dryers are inside the apartments. New carpet. I searched for quite a while trying to find the right place to call home after selling my house. Remington Place was the door I was looking for.

Second year here for these reasons: 1. Professionalism: staff are highly professional, treat any matter with urgency and respect. Packages are held for you. Cleaning and other services are available. 2. Maintenance: highly efficient; treat with urgency and respect. Have true emergency hours and service. Know what they're doing. 3. Rental information/renewal: rent raising is capped at 3-4% yearly.Ours wasn't raised.Communication is clearly given and in writing, and is reviewed carefully. No hidden fees. 4. Internet: ATT. Some apts. have 25 mps speeds; some 75 but it's your line. Cables going in. ATT was very helpful with any issues we had. 5. The units: some renovated. Clean and very easy to keep clean. A yearly carpet cleaning and pro maids are offered for your convenience; management pays for. 6. Layout: No wasted space.The Edelweiss with den is an open floor plan. 3 large windows.The ground floor unit has an alcove for tv with shelves. Some are empty; ours has a deep storage unit beneath it. 2nd/3rd floor units have a wood burning fireplace.Small coat closet in living room. Kitchen has a closet with shallow shelves. No microwave.Double steel sink, electric stove.Dining area holds our 48" round table and 4 chairs opposite the kitchen. Heat and AC are forced air. The den is an extension of your living room, in an alcove.There is a huge, separate washer/drier behind bifold doors on the hallway, with long wire shelves. Across the hallway is your a/c unit in a large storage room. Fits boxes, vacuum, broom, luggage. The bath sink is in the bedroom. The efficient walk in closet holds more than you would think. Separate shower with tall and deep storage closet. Close off the doors to bathroom and bedroom from L.R. The bedroom comfortably holds a queen bed, end tables, a dresser and chair. 7. Utilities: Water, trash, sewage, snow removal is rated by the month and is charged by community usage. You pay through AUM who bundles it. Runs about $40/month. Internet only is $40/month ATT. Heating/AC is ConEd and about $99/month depending on where you keep your thermostat. 8. Nice workout room with enough professional equipment. A lovely clean and private pool. Super clean bathroom next to workout room. 9. Beautiful landscaping, mature trees, lots of sidewalks to walk on, tennis and volleyball courts. Lovely families with children. QUIET; SAFE. Aside from having one's own home, this is the next best place to live near the city. I highly recommend Remington Place.

I just moved into Remington place apartments and I must say, I am overwhelmed with how much I love living here so far. From the start, Erika in the leasing office was a HUGE help in finding the perfect home for me. She made the process smooth and easy, and was always very responsive to my emails. Within my first week here, there were a few maintenance fixes that needed to be done since the unit I chose had been vacant for some time. Cannot say ENOUGH great things about them, every request was answered within minutes and taken care of the same day (usually within an hour or less)! I even had to call late at night for a leak and someone was at my door within 10 minutes. The parking is wonderful as well, there is always parking right in front of my building and always spots for guests. So happy to call Remington my new home.

Do not move here. Rent is way to high. Office is terrible at communication. My heater was broken all winter and they continually told me it wasn't until a new maintenance guy actually checked it out IN MARCH. Everything is out dated. They will dupe you with random fees. DO NOT move here. Heed my warning. Find somewhere more cost effective.

Remington has been a great place to live, the staff are so helpful. We've had a few issues with the apartment, however what I have loved has been the speed and professionalism the staff have shown to address these issues. The community events are great also, looking forward to another pool party once this cold weather aborts us (please). Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the Schaumburg area!

It looks great from the outside, hidden charges and they charged me $50 for lockout.The maintenance never answered their emergency line no response from maintenance tickets. AT&T Internet speed is worst always loading symbol in TV. Expensive apartments.

I have lived at Remington Place Apts. for going on 3 years. The staff is friendly and kind. Jose and his Maintenance tam are a great group of guys and will work with you if you wish to be on-site for any work being done. The apts are secure and there is plenty of parking. The location is great as well! You are 5mins from everything (shopping , food, fun and more!). You are also near public transportation to the city and about 45min from downtown Chicago.

The maintenance department was always prompt, quick and available to fix anything in the apartment. The pool and grounds are kept in good conditions year round. The layouts of the apartments are also very functional and spacious.

My family and I moved in almost a year ago and We plan on staying. Our maintenance guy Orlando is awesome and is always polite and dedicated to fixing any problem we have. The office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The best part is we have a FULL size washer & dryer in our apartment!!!! Beautiful property and we love the location. The only downfall my husband and I noticed is that there isn't a playground area for our kids, this would be a nice feature to have. Other than that I truely recommend checking Remington out.

My apartment is in the perfect location, close to work(15miles), shopping (5 minutes to Woodfield), entertainment. All are within 30 minutes or less of the apartment complex. The apartment has everything on my wish list, wood burning fireplace, washer and dryer in unit, remodeled kitchen and bath, storage right off the balcony, walk in closet. The balconies are deep, providing privacy. The club house has a swimming pool, workout room with equipment. There's a tennis and folly ball court along with ample walking trails. The lawns are very well kept, service is provided promptly and very well done. The apartment sizes vary. The atmosphere is very comfortable. My neighbors are from all walks of life (variety is the spice of life). I know it sounds too good to be true, but it really is "true". I never thought I would enjoy living so close to work in the Chicago land area.

One of the best apartments in Schaumburg Illinois. The apartment units have washer and dryer which is a great convenience to us. Remington apartments is located next to a strip mall which has a variety of shops, restaurants, sports bar, Fedex, Hair saloons and others. It is also next to a couple of hotels and a disco/club bar. It is very near the Woodfield Shopping Mall which is the largest indoor shopping mall in Illinois. The Remington apartment is also less than a mile from the Medieval Times. The William Harper Community College is less than 4 miles from the Remington apartments. Ohare airport is around twenty minutes or less drive from the apartment complex.

It costs me $1,355 a month for my 2 bedroom apartment, and that's not including utilities! The complex is very nice but they lie to you to get you in. they claim they pay all utilities and then once you give them your first months rent they give you the paperwork for the Heat, Water, Trash, and Sewage bills that you have to pay extra for, and then you have to get your own electric set up. They only allow their own internet or one of the slowest speed tiers from AT&T that you also pay for. It's not worth the hassle, you can find a lot better for cheaper.
