Property Ratings at Red Tail by Baron
I lived at Red Tail Apartments for several years. The apartment itself was comfortable, spacious, and beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the well-maintained pool area and shared amenities. Unfortunately, the management experience was consistently disappointing. At one point, I was wrongfully accused of drug use by a staff member over the phone, with no basis or follow-up. It was shocking and completely unprofessional. Most recently, during my move-out, I was told directly by staff that carpet cleaning would be waived as a courtesy for being a long-term tenant. I was also assured that if I left the apartment clean, the cleaning fee would be minimal (under $100). I spent considerable time and care thoroughly cleaning my apartment—something I took pride in throughout my tenancy. Despite that, I received only $23.88 from my $500 deposit, with over $350 in cleaning and carpet charges. When I followed up to dispute this and request more information, the staff were unresponsive and dismissive. They sent vague documentation and never addressed the clear contradictions between what I was told and what I was charged. It’s clear the staff are disorganized, unprofessional, and primarily concerned with money—not with treating tenants fairly or respectfully. If you value transparency and respectful communication, I’d strongly encourage you to consider that before signing a lease here.

The property itself, I love - I love my apt, the size, the kitchen, aside from electric stoves, the pool area...I love it. But, here is what I wish I knew: Victory Rd is a BUSY street, not just that but the stone yard creates so much dust and dirt! You can't open the windows if you want to watch TV - you can't hear anything other than traffic. The dust and dirt has made my allergies terrible, I have to vacuum/mop twice a week or the layer of dust is ridiculous!
Unethical business practices which include charging long-time tenants for charges paid to the prior owner over two years ago. Baron LLC is only interested in nickel-and-diming tenants to the fullest extent it can get away with. Red Tail pretends to be a luxury apartment, but the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors coughing and using the restroom. Any tenant should expect to pay well above the published rates because they will find every excuse to fine people. At move-out, I was told my unit was clean and I would be receiving a partial refund of the deposit. By the time they finished invoicing for every possible charge imaginable, they claimed I owed them money.
I lived in my apartment for a few years. Had a great experience maintenance was quick and did a good job. Leasing office very nice answered all my questions and made the move in and move out process so easy. Very reasonable should have stayed instead of buying a house now I have to take care of a yard!

I loved my two bedroom apartment. It was very clean and well planned. It's hard to find a two bedroom apartment where both bedrooms have a walk in closet. The pool and gym are fantastic. The community is well maintained and the staff is very nice.

We were in Meridian, Idaho several months ago and was taken on a tour of the facility. We fell in love with the development and are coming back to rent a one bedroom apartment. They have a fitness room to die for. A pool that you can hardly wait to get in. There is also a computer room. They have everything you need. Check them out! The apartment are so up to date and fashionable. You will not fina a better apartment to live in. We love this place. The staff are wonderful and so friendly and easy to talk with. See you soon.
