The neighborhood of North Tampa sits eight miles directly north of downtown Tampa on I-275. North Tampa is roughly two miles southwest of the University of South Florida, roughly a mile from University Mall, two miles northwest of Busch Gardens theme park, and roughly three miles west of Adventure Island water park.
