Midwest City is a medium-sized suburb located about eight miles east of Downtown Oklahoma City. This planned community sits directly north of Tinker Air Force Base, making it an ideal suburb for military personnel. Most of Midwest City consists of residential neighborhoods holding affordable apartments and single-family homes for rent.
There are many events, celebrations, and places of cultural interest in and around Midwest City. One event is the “Made in Oklahoma Wine, Beer and Food Festival” held annually in May. This event includes a motorcycle show, live music, food, and drinks from local vendors as well as an air show. For military buffs, there is a display of several retired Air Force Fighter Planes located on 29th Street across from the military base. Additional green spaces in town are located along Soldier Creek and provide playgrounds, trails, and picnic facilities.

Lease renewal The process was fast and easy. No problems if nothing has changed since the first initial signing. But since everything was an exact copy of the original contract with no real means of adding or changing, it may force others to request a one on one to report such changes to be documented. I rented a studio as an Active Duty member from 2023 to 2024. The place was quiet and close to work but peoples cars were broken into on a less-than-common basis. There was always trash in the courtyard and the breezeways. When I PCS'd they charged me $80 for cleaning and my utilities were doubled for that month. The utilities are divided among the units per building, meaning I paid $134 dollars for utilities omw out and I couldn't refute it because it was based on how much the building used, not the individual unit. The front desk workers were polite and worked with me. You'd be better off finding a small apartment elsewhere

They dont answer their phone and you go to the office to talk to them but they are always on lunch.
I really loved living there. The staff are very nice and helpful. Whenever I had a maintenance request it was done ASAP. The pool was my favorite part, it was always opened and maintained. My family resided at Raintree Meadows for a little more then 4 years and the only reason why I left was to get a three bedroom otherwise I would definitely still be living there.
I would NOT recommend this place. The water bills are outrageous, there is no just a flat fee and it keeps going up every month. For a one person in a one bedroom its like $25/month. The maintenance man sleeps around with all the residences and is extremely lazy. Plus they drive their vehicles in the breezeways of the property almost hitting little kids playing around the pool area. The laundry room is always a mess and the equipment is always broke. It has definitely gone down hill since I moved in. I am very disappointed with these apartments and so are a lot of my neighbors. We are encouraging friends and family to look elsewhere
I've been in this apartment now for almost 2 1/2 weeks and I really like the fact that it is so quiet and there's a good share of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. There's a college just a hop, skip and a jump away also. It is well maintained and the landlord is really nice. The swimming pools are always clean and maintained. The yards are always neatly trimmed too. Even the laundry room is very satisfying. After getting off work late at night, I feel so safe when I park my car and walk to my apartment. I've never heard anything bad about this apartment complex either. I'd highly recommend this place for living. John M, Oklahoma City
