Enter the property through the flower-covered arched gate into the fully enclosed front yard to see a cheery garden and well- preserved vintage cottage with an original stained-glass front door with a twist-knob doorbell. Walking into the cottage, you'll see that the living room is surprisingly roomy, complete with a gas fireplace, storage pegs, and accent lighting. To the left of the front door is the first bedroom, the largest of three. This room has plenty of light and could also be used as an office. Stepping out of the first bedroom and back into the living room, walk a few steps, and you'll see the second bedroom on the left. It is the middle-sized of the three bedrooms with a view looking onto the back deck area. Walking out of the second bedroom, turning left, and proceeding toward the back of the home, you'll notice an arched vintage glass doorway that serves as the visual divider between the front and back of the house. Walk through the glass doorway and look to the right to see the third bedroom. This bedroom is the smallest of the three, which can tightly fit a queen-sized bed. Exit the smallest bedroom, turn to the right, and you'll witness the dining area and kitchen. Filled with lots of natural light, this kitchen is quite functional. The kitchen offers quartz countertops, plenty of storage space, a gas range and oven, a microwave oven, two small refrigerators/freezers next to each other that provide plenty refrigerator space, a butcher block countertop above the refrigerators, with a dishwasher. Leaving the kitchen, turn right toward the back of the house, and you'll see the stacked washer and dryer unit directly in front of you, with the bathroom to the right. The bathroom is freshly painted, has a storage cabinet, and a roomy shower with opaque glass dividers. Stepping out of the bathroom, you'll see a glass back-door that takes you to the generous wooden-deck outdoor living space, which is well-suited for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Walking down from the deck into the side yard, there is a basement storage unit under the cottage, which is inaccessible. The unattached garage, directly to the right of the home, has been converted into useable storage and recreational space that you can use as often as you wish. Walk toward the front of the house and around to the side to see the driveway that can accommodate two cars deep. The front of the detached garage has a padlock key and has space for bikes, tools, and electrical outlets should you want to work on a small project. The back half of the detached garage also has a regular lock and key, plus a padlock key. When you enter the back of the converted garage, you'll see a small bonus room with lighting that can serve as an art room, a bonus room, or a storage area. This home is located near the heart of downtown Pacific Grove, is 1.5 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, Lover's Point, Recreation Trail and many of the Peninsula's amenities.
