Prosper Apartments offers a variety of one & two-bedroom floor plans featuring stainless steel appliances and all-new countertops, cabinetry, and flooring finishes. Prosper is currently undergoing significant renovations to create a modernized upscale rental choice in South Bend. New roofs have been added to many of the buildings, hallways & common areas are refinished, amenities upgraded and facades have received large-scale transformations. Prosper is a garden-style community made up of multiple buildings with first & second-floor units offering either patios or balconies, with laundry rooms centrally located in each building. An array of amenities are offered including an indoor seasonal swimming pool, fitness center, movie theater, billiards and lounge room, tanning, playground, dog park, and more. We include parking and all utilities except electric in the rent. We are pet-friendly up to 50 lbs with "aggressive" breed restrictions. Additionally, we are centrally located in South Bend close to various points of interest, grocery stores & major employers.

The Outer East and Northern part of South Bend is famous for being the location of the University of Notre Dame. Neighboring colleges include St. Mary’s, Holy Cross and Bethel College. The area can be found 4 miles north of downtown South Bend and 6 miles south of the Michigan/Indiana border.
The area remains a largely residential one, where college residents can easily find off-campus housing. The St. Joseph River cuts through the area, providing beautiful nature views and trails, and the city capitalizes on this by maintaining parks and providing outdoor activities for the community.

The worst place Ive ever lived in!!!! Crime rate is ridiculous. Had broken things since I moved in. Management has refused to take my concerns and has not fixed anything.

Rent hike at 20%, only justification "market value", lots of gunshots, nearly every month or two. I've never used the laundry as they were out dated. Doesn't feel safe here even with police and Violent Crimes Unit constantly patrolling the area. My vehicle has been broken into twice. Lack of working light posts, never come home late, and money hungry management for a subpar apartment complex. If you are an ND grad student stay away from here!

This place is disgusting. badly infested with cockroaches and literally falling apart. The lights in the laundry rooms do not even work. They focus on updating the outside to draw people in instead of fixing the issues within the apartments. All the positive reviews you see are baited by offering a chance to win discounts, gift cards, etc... DO NOT move here.

I love living at Prosper Apartments. The new apartment renovations have made the buildings beautiful inside and out. The new property management company Keeley is very responsive and helpful to residents. Maintenance requests are taken care of fairly quickly compared to the old management company.

Appreciate all the property upgrades. Personally if I have a concern the staff tries to handle and resolve in a timely manner. Yes there were concerns when the old management had it. No world is perfect but we try daily.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. With this place now under new management I had high hopes for this place and was going to extend my rent, however the new management have been rude and inconsistent. I had put in a work order for my stove a month ago and have yet to be fixed. They have so many hidden fees that is unbelievable. I could easily go and move somewhere for the same amount but at a nicer place. I don't recommend moving here. The people there are rude and ridiculous.
