Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, resting alongside the Ohio River on the Kentucky-Indiana border. The architecture in Louisville is a mix of old and new, with historic neighborhoods comprised of Victorian houses and towering skyscrapers scattered throughout the downtown area, many of which contain upscale apartments and condos available for rent.
The amenities in Louisville are just as diverse as the architecture. Renting in Louisville affords you the opportunity to see the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, learn more about a boxing legend at the Muhammad Ali Center, and meet a range of animals at the Louisville Zoo. The city’s award-winning restaurant scene is an exemplary display of Southern cooking. Just outside the city lies the Louisville Mega Cavern, a vast underground space offering a broad range of adventurous attractions.

Property Ratings at Prospect Park Apartments
Prospect Park iss in a great location, very well maintained, has nice amenities and feels very safe. But, the greatest experience was with Jana'e, who worked with us to find the perfect unit for my friend. My friend is disabled and has unique needs. Jana'e was incredibly professional, kind, patient, knowledgeable and resourceful. We looked at many facilities and no one worked with us like Jana'e did. There are lots of properties with very nice amenities but Prospect Parks greatest asset is Jana'e.

Quiet, even though there’s a lot of commercialization in the area. Can walk to Kroger, drugstore, Feeders Supply and to lots of nearby restaurants. Have not felt unsafe at all, even late at night, although need to always keep a watch no matter where you are. Management is very responsive: Jessica, Michaela (now at different property) and Angela have been great. Maintenance is very good - hope they keep this guy! Not a brand new property, but very well maintained. Clean, good landscaping. Property has “good bones.” Recently repaved parking lot. Washing machine started leaking, cheaper for them to install a new one, so that was great for me. New windows were installed and have been great after a pretty cold/drafty winter. Utility bills decreased a Lot. Black Diamond comes out to spray. Very nice pool. Nice patio and outdoor storage closet, Have had no trouble parking. Lots of people have dogs, never see any messes, renters are pretty responsible. Nothing crazy going on that I see. Easy online portal to make payments, schedule maintenance or send a message. Downsides: wish it was a nonsmoking property. Sometimes come in after work and it smells like a ganja festival has taken place. Long vertical blinds. Only one ceiling fan in whole 2bedroom unit, in a bedroom. Would’ve loved to have in every room. Patio door does not lock, so installed my own. Advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages.
I love it here. Jessica and Michaela went out of their way to personally bring me a new stove which was so incredible. The complex is central to everything. It is very dog friendly! Ruby and Cyber get spoiled every time they go into the office. It is also very quiet at night. Jessica and Michaela are super friendly and always eager to help.
My hysband and I have been here almost a year. We LOVE it....very spacious 2 bedroom, large balcony and wood burning fireplace. We have used the fireplace quite a lot this winter. Heats the apt up at least 2 to 3 extra degrees which is perfect for us. Really enjoy having cocktails out on our balcony. We even have an electric grill. Haven't used the gym or pool due to Covid-19. After I can get my vaccine, I will probably use them. Very low keyed. No loud neighbors. Beautiful inside and out. Plan on being here for a while if the rent doesn't get too expensive. Management and maintenance are very friendly and prompt to fix a problem. Great place to live??
This is a Beautiful community layout and MOST UNDERRATED LOCATION in Louisville. Living like a king in a spacious spread with everything I need in walking distance.
They do not care what comes up in your life and even if you try to work stuff out with them, they do not care how long you have been a customer. Managment is poor, quality of apartments are poor. I came home one evening to find a guy urinating in the parking lot, the inside closet had mould growing all over the wall, I had missing light bulbs when moving in. Crime is going up in the area, and music is blasting all hours of the night. Smell of marajuana seaped through my flat due to the neighbours and parking is near impossible due to one or two units with 4 or 5 cars from relatives that should not be extended stayers. I was an on time payer and have never missed a payment, my only word of advise is to go, and never set a walkthrough.
