Property Ratings at Prairie Reserve
I’ve lived here for just over a year now. I first took over a sublet lease and then once that was finished I was able to renew my lease. I would reccomend living here to anyone.
We really like it here. WE love the space and both us and our dog loves the fenced off dog area outside our apartment. It has been a great place for us.
It's hard to build up a rapport with staff because it seems like it's always changing. A lot of tenants don't really consider how their actions affect their neighbors and common sense and common courtesy don't exist much. There's a lot of potential for improvement but it all starts with getting a dedicated staff that is committed to making this place a great place to live and who's going to be here for more than just a year or so.
They have a really bad mice problem that they don’t seem to be taking care of. It’s truly a shame that they want you to pay a lot in rent but don’t want to take care of the problem.
Prairie's community is quiet and clean place to live. Good customer service. Quick response whenever maintenance requested. I like living in this community.
I love the quietness of the apartments. And the staff real professional and caring. The internet is available and other services like a gym, laundry, business lounge.
I feel at home it's just everything I want peace and quiet the only thing I hate you need a car to get around to grocery stores but out of a 10 I give it a 9 because of transportation
Lack of communication from the office to residents as well what appears to be between staff members. No one in the office is on the same page. Ultimately it was the incompetence of management that earned this review. For the better part of a year I had no complaints. Then the office closed for a week in July 2024 (I believe)and it’s been nothing but a headache since. The new management seems to be under the impression that as tenants we don’t deserve timely response to our message, nor do we deserve fair and equal treatment.
We’re not quite at 1 star yet but I won’t be surprised when we get there, just disappointed. I don’t know what happened, I used to like living here but it seems like things have gone downhill. Valid noise complaints are ignored and really the only amenity is the gym. All the electronic locks are currently busted so if you have work or school that doesn’t allow you free time until after the office hours there’s no access to the gym or the ability to do laundry. Instead of holding the children and the parents of children responsible, management has decided to close off the bathroom access after office hours so we all have to be punished. I see they’re doing some construction/remodeling in the leasing office building and I’m not excited to see how that will raise rent prices. This place is quickly becoming way more expensive than what it’s actually worth.
It’s amazing here I love it so much . Super great place to live. Very nice staff and awesome gym with everything you need on sight . Very good place for students as well .
My unit was a little dirty upon move-in and the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear your neighbors pretty easily. But, overall it's a great place to live for the price! Management has been very pleasant and responsive any time I've needed to reach out.
I was very surprised to find such close apartments to the Kirkwood neighborhood and they have great rooms at a great price. Clean and calm . Thanks for helping me in such a short amount of time. Pros: Fast, friendly, great rooms and location. Cons: Wish I would have looked here sooner : )
Clean apartment with nice fixtures. Great AC and water heater. Counter space in kitchen is a little cramped, but lots of open space for furniture.
I sublet here and it's been awesome, management is good and I love the neighborhood! I recommend the reserve apartments if you're looking for a new place to call home
It’s a nice apartment and maintenance is great but some of the neighbors in the complex are super loud and they sit out in their car in the parking lot blaring loud music at 1100 pm, very disrespectful
Maintenance always on point, major convenience for weekends for that “ just in case emergency “ Close walking distance to many useful places . Staff 9/10 friendly and all about helpful when needed.
Nothing too fancy so far. Our place had a lot of spiders when we moved in, and smelled faintly of smoke, but with some cleaning and TLC, we're beginning to feel right at home in Prairie Reserve.
Lack of communication from office, I still have a maintenance request from January that hasn’t been done or even followed up on. When and if I get a response from the office it usually never answered the questions I’ve asked
Love the area, very quiet, relaxing neighborhood. Office team is very helpful and understanding when you have issues. The gym is very nice, and i love that theres a little game area and computer room!

Quiet Perfect view Staff very kind and helpful when needed. Maintance is very quick best service I’ve ever had, with on call weekend help!! Close to sources when neeeded for walking distance
1st a small 3 bed unit, 2nd poor management, 3rd management are telling me to open my window cause the AC is not running for a almost 2weeks. They been telling me lies after lies. I feel like I am not welcoming here. I would give 0 star if I can. I been renting a hotel ever since the AC down, yet the maintenance guys tell me they will look at it. Maintenance don't know to fixed the AC
Staff are great and love the new web portal. Quite and on call maintenance is awesome in case of emergency. Free amenities like the gym and Internet is a big help for my balance life style.
Lived here for 3 years and loved it! Only moving because I need a bigger place but I will be moving to another Haverkamp run property. Staff are amazing and helpful and so are maintenance
very quiet and many parking spaces available, The apartment is in good condition, everything is new and clean. If you are thinking of moving here, don't think twice and just do it. I promise you won't regret it.
Nice place to live and friendly staff eager to help in any way they can. Rent is reasonable and Internet being included is a definite plus.

Well after moving to a new apartment in the reserve and sending in all of our paperwork. Half of it was lost after having lived here for almost a year.Our ESA cat, and 3 of us, all live in a 3 bed yet apparently during an inspection just today they saw a dog as well? We no longer have a dog in our apartment. They also lost our paperwork that we just signed stating who all lived in our apartment, and they claim to not have our cats ESA paperwork. Wouldn't answer my calls when trying to contact them 5 or so minutes after being called myself. Still a nice place to live minus some noise, but it is sometimes a struggling handling business with the office.

This is my second time in my life living in an apartment community and actually has been a safe and peaceful journey for my wife and I even our teenage children enjoy the scenery my grandkids have a safe place to play when they come and visit and we are grateful for this experience

Would score higher if washers and dryers were more functional, overall a good apartment complex for beginners with low rent and nice floor plans.
A homey little community with quaint apartments. A good community to live in with easy access to different amenities. The only downside is having to walk for laundry

Awesome property! Me and my Boyfriend got our first apartment together and so far we are really enjoying it! Clean, safe place. Not too much noice and neighbors are respectful. Cannot wait to see where this year takes us!

Great place to live, wish we had a pool. The gym is awesome. They could do more to insure the laundry facilities are working properly. Everything is clean. No issues
everything about the apartment is so clean and nice, staffing is amazing. Staffing is very quick to fix something if it’s broken. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful!
Property is maintained well. If you have a maintenance issue they are quick to help you resolve it. The parking lots are cleared of snow quickly. Salt is put down quickly also. Trash is handled well. Also the apartments themselves are quite nice.
Decent apartments not a terrible side of town, rent is high but the view is decent from certain areas, might be a good fit for you just depends

Very quick leasing! They are not the nicest of places but you can tell that they’re trying to keep things updated such as new counters and cupboards flooring and paint. No complaints as far as them not coming for maintenance issues or groundskeeping.

Moved in with a half melted microwave, got a new one and the oven lights went out on day 2. Went to replace the lights to find out they had been glued in. Haven't gotten any window screens replaced despite being reported as damaged when I moved in. Wasp nests prevalent outside despite numerous complaints. Cockroaches from other tenants creeping through the entire building. Bathroom is basically built to collect mold if you shower at all. Oh, and my dishwasher has yet to be fixed or replaced since I moved in. Can't use any detergent in it at all.

I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and I love where I live! My kids love playing at the playground here and taking our dog for walks around the neighborhood. As a single mother safety is important to me and I appreciate that I can enjoy family time inside and outside of my apartment without worry. The maintenance staff is always very quick to handle any issues I’ve had and the staff is amazing! Prairie reserve is a great place for anybody looking for a peaceful and fairly priced apartment. Highly recommend!

Rent is a bit high, but does have water and internet. Helps that income requirement is only 2x and not 3x the rent. No in unit or even in building laundry machines is a pain to deal with though. Staff is helpful, AC works, paying rent is easy. Noise comes through the walls pretty well so screaming kids, barking dogs, and other such sound can be irritating. Overall not bad, some things I wish were different but it works.
