Portside Harbor is a dream haven! A beautiful community surrounded by the tranquility of both land and water nature. PH is managed by a group of highly dedicated and caring professionals. My nearby neighbors are delightfully kind, helpful and very respectful. Furthermore, and as if it can't get any better, a very much needed Harbor Mart with quality products and deliciously prepared meals is just a beautiful walking distance away!

It’s hard to say extra nice things when the owners are adding charges every year. We pay high prices for the view. The customer service is no longer exceptional.

NOT a "luxury experience." There are some amazing people in and around this community including my dog owning neighbors, Clay, maintenance staff and everyone at the Harbor Mart. There are however several issues that do not render this to be a luxury community experience...so be mindful of the value you are receiving when paying a premium to live/work here. Many of the amenities are not/have not been in working fashion...yet rent increases while value realized decreases. The hot tub has not been hot for coming on a year now and this is after the entire pool area was closed for several months for extensive servicing. I and many others have submitted countless work orders to no avail. Management has no visibility to their chosen front door locking system and the life of the battery within the mechanism. I have been locked out of my apartment overnight without advanced notice. My office and pet were locked inside at the time with no way to get inside of my unit. At which point, after-hours & on-site support was unresponsive, non-existent and unhelpful. I have submitted work orders strictly for the front/only door lock 3 times in less than 2 months. Retailers living and working in the community have a very hard time securing foot traffic to maintain a healthy/profitable business and cycle out of the community with regularity. There is a large outdoor bike storage structure right out front of the leasing office for some reason as it is never used due to the robust bike theft of locked bikes in the area. The EV Charger service stopped without any advanced notice and has been inoperational for months.

I love it here at Portside and they take good care of me, maintenance questions, etc.

Portside Ventura Harbor is an amazing active community. It feels to me management puts a lot of effort in pleasing the residents. Every month we have great activities for adults, children and the elders. Love the markets by the sea full of vendors, music and food trucks . The pool and jacuzzi are the best specially for children. The gym is great for when it rains I can still do my walking workout on the treadmills. I haven't used the bocci ball courts yet or the tennis courts but I will in the future. We have a fabulous clubhouse we can lounge in and is available to rent for your events. I love it here, I have reached Nirvana and this will be my forever home.

I love living at Portside! It’s so beautiful and amazing by the water and lovely gardening. Friendly neighbors and great staff. It’s a quiet area, but I have some noisy neighbors who doesn’t respect quiet hours. Besides the noise I’m very happy and no complaints :) I would recommend it! Thanks

Portside was a relief when we found it. It's not easy to downsize from a house to an apartment but Portside is well worth it. The community, amenities staff are great. The location is unmatched for beauty and health.

Portside Ventura Harbor is a fabulous place to live with easy access to beaches, a great location on the harbor within close proximity to town with all that is offered there, and a sense of community.

This place is like a resort!!! We are so happy living here already and we are so excited to be residents of Portside. Everything is so clean and everyone is so nice here!

We've been at Portside for over a year now, and we couldn’t be happier! From the moment we moved in, everyone has gone above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. We love walking the promenade with our baby and taking in the amazing sunset views. The monthly events are a great addition, and the market days are our favorite. Portside itself is gorgeous, but the staff make living here worthwhile. A big thank you to Charmaine, Autumn, Clay, Rachel, Javier, Freddy, and Julio for making this place feel like home!

I have been a resident at Portside Ventura Harbor since April 2020, one of the very first to move in. I have enjoyed living here and watching it grow and mature.

I would not recommend Portside ever again (I did the first few months), especially no to having a business here. Businesses are led to believe there was management, community support as well as from visitors and that the management publicized and promoted the businesses. I have not experienced that, actually have been neglected to be kept abreast of events and promotions. And, there is no visability promoting Portside, people in Ventura don’t know it’s here.

Rachel and her team are the best! She always responds even on her days off. I asked Autumn if we could do more activities for the residents and she delivered! Clay and Charmaine are always so nice and take care of us so well. Freddy, Julio and Javi are AMAZING and took care of our toilet right away. I love calling Portside home! Thanks so much! We love it here and the events are a huge bonus!

Portside is a paradise for those who seek a serene and safe community by the water. And, it’s filled with a great many friendly residents.

Portside is a peaceful and relaxing place to live yet has great amenities and activities for those seeking them, as well as staff that are friendly and helpful. The beach, harbor front, and all that Ventura has to offer are easily accessible. It has been simply wonderful to make it home.

Portside is a special community in that it has a sense of community, ongoing events, but is a peaceful place to live-something that is critical for me after busy days. Words really do not do it justice, as it's more of a feeling one gets while being here. So, while it may appear similar to other such communities, I have found that it is not and is a visible yet truly a hidden gem.

I am still a new resident, but this place has been my favorite rental by far! Between living right on the marina, the events and amenities; it's truly hard to beat! I am proud to call Portside home.

Portside is overall a wonderfully planned community. The amenities, such as the pool, sports activities, and close access to a lovely food mart and wonderful coffee shop are well thought out.. I look forward to other businesses coming in. Although I wasn’t able to attend movie night at the pool, I think that is especially a great community activity.

Large pool heater is frequently broken. When u ask for it to be fixed, they mark it as fixed, when they clearly didn't do anything

Portside is such a lovely place to live, I’m close to the water, have a beautiful updated apartment and excellent amenities. I also really love the constant community building events and new businesses opening.

Wonderful seemingly safe community. Many opportunities to meet people, or not. Access to lovely small shops and markets . All different age groups.

I haven’t been here long but so far I LOVE living at Portside Ventura! Obviously “location, location, location”, but the tenants have been wonderful, many have introduced themselves and their pups, plus the vibe has been very chill, and the apartment is so spacious! Whoever designed them was SPOT ON with my needs. The office staff and maintenance crew are prompt, professional, and friendly. The icing on the cake is hearing the seagulls and seals every morning, then watching the sunset by evening. I’m even getting more steps in because it is hard to resist walking along the harbor. Blessed to call Portside home…

Portside Ventura Harbor is impeccably managed. It should be the model for other properties. The management is caring,gracious,polite and very professional.

A dream community by the ocean with the very best staff, neighbors and amenities.

The staff is always going out of there way to make this community safe, clean, there always checking up on you to see if everything is ok.

I can say that after living here for seven months so far, I still feel the same about the Leasing/Management office staff as I did when I first met them. They are very professional and helpful at all times. Having worked more closely and directly with McKynzie during the lease preparation and signing, it could not of gone smoother. Then there is the Maintenance and Housekeeping Staff and both do a fantastic job as well.I look forward to this summer when hopefully more shops and stuff will open up within walking distance.

It's like living in a small beautiful community. Everyone is very helpful.

An amazing community that's more than just a place to live, it's an experience. Living by the water is one thing but on the water is an entirely different story. Walking my dog along the harbor every day, walking my bike out my front door and hopping on to ride instead of packing it up in the car and most likely not going at all. Tennis, the pool, it's a luxurious lifestyle suited perfectly to renew both your spirit and your life. Portside Ventura Harbor ROCKS!

We enjoy living at Portside Ventura Harbor. Units are quiet and people are friendly. There is always something going on or being planned for the tenants.

The most beautiful place I've ever lived! I feel like I'm dreaming when I wake up. Portside Ventura Harbor has excellent amenities and is walking distance to the beach and Ventura Village. They even have a farmer's market in the community! I'm so happy to call Portside Ventura Harbor my home!
