Portofino Apartments

I have lived here for over a year with no issues, and initially would have given a good review. There is new management and they have decided to slam me with over a $1k in pet fees, stating that is their policy.. Yet in the lease and animal addendum, and in their marketing this is not made clear anywhere. Rather than remove the double charge the office is willing to go to court with me... So beware! New management are absolute jerks and you will be nickeled and dimed for everything, including pet fees and rent that are not clearly stated or agreed to when you sign your lease. There are better options in Lubbock! You can rent a house for how much they charge per month here for a 1/1. Don't let the move in specials lure you in, as soon as your lease is up the rates sky rocket and you'll be hit with fees you weren't expecting!

We have lived here for over a year and it’s so peaceful! Maintenance always comes the day I put in a request or the day after. Office staff is very nice and helpful! Property is well kept and clean. I moved from Dallas and I am very happy with my choice.

These are great apartments in a great area. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others.

I’ve been living here at portofino for 8 months now with my wife. It is clean, safe and the apartment is well maintained. The management here are quick to respond to any maintenance issue, they’re just a one call away. And our neighbors were never a bother at all. I cannot say anything bad to this apartment. It’s been our home here at Lubbock and we love it here.

I’ve been renting here for about 2 years. At first, the property was great and we really enjoyed living here. As time went on, it progressively got worse. The maintenance issues have become a huge problem and the staff is extremely unhelpful. They’ve raised rent so much that it’s cheaper to buy a house than rent an apartment! The pool is constantly dirty, there is never any parking near my apartment, and the walls are so thin that you can hear the conversations on every side. Avoid at all costs.

I have loved calling Portofino home! Beautiful apartments in a great location- near good shopping, restaurants, and a park. The management is super helpful and caring of their tenants!

I absolutely love it here!! The management here is the best and made the move in process so easy!! All of the amenities are fantastic. By far the best place I have lived!

I cannot say enough good things about Portafino! My fiancé and I have lived here for almost a year and it has been wonderful. It is new, clean, safe, and the maintenance staff is quick and trustworthy! 10/10!

Property is in an excellent location minutes from Westend Mall with all the good restaurants and Costco, Target, and United supermarkets. The house-like complexes are more cozy than apartment buildings and maintain a nice internal temperature through the year. The lawn is well maintained and complex generally clean. Only complaints are the floors occasionally leaking during heavy rain, and the pool not being clean at times.

Love the area, as well as the property manager! Also no problems with maintenance being quick and efficient. I’ve lived here for over two years and absolutely couldn’t have picked a better place to live.

The staff here is amazing and assists to all of your needs, I love the amenities and I definitely recommend living here if you want to be close enough to a shopping center but far out so you don’t feel the influence of the city of lubbock

Best apartment community I have lived in! Period!!The amenities are top notch for an unmatched price you will not get anywhere else in the country. We have lived in 3 different cities in the country and these are undoubtedly the best. They look and feel brand new ( because they are)! The location is just perfect, close to great food and shopping, a park right across the street. Lived here for three years and it was really our home! The Girls in the office, Sara, Alexis, Brittany are all so welcoming and nice. Right from day one until we left the apartment they have been extremely helpful and pleasant. The repair guys specially DJ is so amazing! Little incident worth mentioning I had issues with my dishwasher right on Christmas eve last year and even though it was not an emergency, DJ came in and replaced it on Christmas day even though he wanted to take his kids out for presents. ?? Everybody is nice and accomodating and values their tenants. So if you are moving to Lubbock, 3105 Oakridge Ave is the place to be!
