Poplar Ridge Apartments

These apartments are not as nice as they appear in the photos. Dampness and mold are present. Forget about getting your deposit back when you move.

This place is horrible, me and my roommate went and looked at these apartments and they are poorly upkept with mold everywhere! Only thing nice is the pool (which closes early) and the gym that isn't open 24 hours. Apartments are very old and smell of pet urine and mold. They aren't luxury by any means and forget about calling because the manager never answers the phone. We tried calling for two weeks and finally just went there only to be disappointed!

Would give negative stars if possible. This place is the most crooked business I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After 12 months of constant water and electricity problems, black mold in the bathrooms, and loud birds and squirrels in the walls, my security deposit was withheld. I finally took the matter to court and the regional manager held up the check claiming to have tried to return my deposit (if you tried to return it, why was I taking off work to file a lawsuit, 58 days later? Sent 3 letters/called daily requesting it....) and asking for a dismissal, refusing to address any of the additional complaints regarding HUNDREDS of dollars spent in bills due to their gross negligence (multiple leaks and an apartment that smelled like sewer for roughly 6 weeks). If you want 12 full months of headaches, ignored phone calls, and negligent management, please sign a lease at Poplar Ridge Apartments in Gray, TN!
