With its emerald landscape and sparkling lake, the picturesque city of Lake Mills provides the ideal blend of lakefront living and quick commutes into nearby Madison, located just 25 miles west. The western edge of the city borders Rock Lake, with three parks providing lake access. Sandy Beach has boat docks and a boat ramp, a sandy beach with pier, and picnic tables. The Glacial Drumlin State Trail extends through Lake Mills. This bike trail extends 52 miles from Waukesha to Cottage Grove. Whether on bike or on foot, this trail provides a fascinating landscape made up of drumlins (hills of rock that resemble teardrops, formed by glaciers as they move).

Property Ratings at Pondview Apartments
The place needs new roofs and they dont have onsight maintenance or much of anything , one apartment has sat vacant for 2 years, the bushes are not trimmed , parking lot falling apart. The ponds smell in summer!
Poor management. Had to file complaint with Lake Mills city inspector to get management to fix broken toilet, broken stove and faulty wiring which resulted in a horrific shock that caused me to go to the ER. Management fails to prevent one inconsiderate tenant from taking up 3 to 4 of the 6 parking spots(the cars rarely move and once tenant had non-working car parked in a spot the entire winter)forcing other tenants to park on a busy street. The 5 minute walk to work is only reason we stay.
