Property Ratings at Plaza Grande at Garden State Park
We've enjoyed our time so far at The Plaza Grande. Our only concern is that: some of the amenities included in our lease agreement have not been working to satisfaction. Our rent is paid on the first of each month however, those amenities we pay for aren't working. Our experience has been good however, it could be better. Hoping Greystar can meet the expectations of the residents.
I live in one of the newest buildings so the following problems are not due to the age of the building. Intercom system frequently not working so you’re forced to go down to the lobby to let your guests in or receive packages or food delivery. HVAC system is excessively loud! You’ll never need to wonder if your heat or air conditioner are running. Water pressure is so poor you’re not able to rinse food off your dishes or get conditioner out of your hair! There is no card room or separate areas in the clubhouse for residents to use. In fact, they have refused to even provide a table to play on. Pool also frequently closed. The property manager is useless. Never responds to a complaint and does not return phone calls!
Excellent location! Lacks adequate closet space. AC/HEAT noise is like a jet. Building security non-existent. Poor lighting in driveways which are mostly uneven. Elevators in several buildings go down frequently. Unfinished balconies underside. Maintenance dept., very good.
The HVAC runs at 70 dB in the Stallion model. Management says not a problem. The EPA identifies 45 dB indoors, 55 dB outdoors, as the level to prevent activity interference and annoyance. NJ regulates commercial and community service facilities to 65 dB daytime, 50 dB nighttime. This is not luxury living. Make sure you run the HVAC in the unit you are interested in before you decide to move here.
My wife lived there one plus years, we meet lots of nice people there one or two even worked there.Most have left or are looking to get out. People don’t stay for lots of reasons ours was lots of non-truths . We where promised a price break on second year over an over again buy original sales person. There answer was she should not have done that when we tried to have a meeting about it, they passed it off. So rent went up $250 a month. First look at apartment, they said outdoor pool in one year,walk through night they said 3 years, 6 months ago they said absolutely this summer, Ha Ha Ha. , when we left last month they said MAYBE NEXT YEAR... what are we paying for... got to go.??????
