Three small, upper-middle-class neighborhoods, Middletown, Woodland Hills and Douglass Hills, and Anchorage, an upper-class community, make up the Outer East End of Louisville. Each community features a mixture of newer, more elaborate homes that mingle nicely with some of the historic architecture in the area. However, the homes in Anchorage remain the most elaborate in the area. Wide-open, undeveloped areas provide residents with beautiful scenic views, and nearby access to U.S. Route 60 and interstates 64 and 265 make the 18-mile commute into downtown Louisville simple.

Good place to live, safe and clean, quiet and close to just about anything you need and some even walking distance. Staff is friendly, maintenance stays on top of requests and repairs.
I’ve had such a great experience living here! The complex is clean, well-maintained, and feels very safe. The management team is responsive and professional — any time I’ve had a question or small maintenance request, they’ve handled it quickly and with a great attitude. The amenities are also a huge plus, and the community overall is quiet and pleasant. Finding an apartment that feels like home isn’t always easy, but this place has definitely been that for me. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to live.
Living here is awesome good service every time I needed something to fix they did right away.

I have been living at Plainview Apartments for about 8 months. The grounds are always kept up with and the pool is always fun to jump in. The apartment has an abundance of space with big rooms and lots of natural light. If there are any issues with the apartment, maintenance has reviewed the problem the next day. The office staff is friendly and always welcoming. Always have treats available for my dog, he practically pulls me into the office. They host great community events. Great place to live

The apartments are great. The stuffs and management are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is very prompt whenever I needed anything fixed. Plenty of parking and space in general. Great 24/7 gym too, has all I need. They keep the place clean and well groomed. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to live! It's an amazing place to live!

I have lived at my Plainview apartment for a year now. I think the maintenance is prompt, wonderful and responsive. There are plenty of email communications from the office via email if you need to move your car or if something will be closed. I really like I can walk around the area and Timberwood Circle is a great 2 mile walk with plenty of sidewalks. Having a stoplight to exit onto Linn station is also great. Really the location is sought after for people in the area. For the units themselves, they’re really old and most units are not updated like they show sometimes. The bathrooms have clearly not been updated in 15-20 years and the appliances seem they are from the early 2000s as well. They still have popcorn ceilings and old countertops. The grey walls are depressing and have so many imperfections. The toilet and shower regularly need maintenance. I think maintenance has been to my apartment at least twice a month to fix things on average since we moved in. To call these apartments luxurious is a joke. Even the outside of the unit looks old. The deck needs to be redone and there are painted-over wires. The units don’t get enough sunlight because the windows are tiny. The price is way to high for what you will get. I also haven’t liked my neighbors. Some of the neighbors don’t keep their units clean, it smells like dog dung and cigarettes in the hall. Watch out when walking because residents rarely pick up after their pets. I think after this year, we will be moving out to find something nicer but for the same price.
We lived there for over a year in 2022 and rented a 3BD/2.5 BA. We flooded badly once or twice a month. However, the maintenance crew still cleaned it up and replaced what was needed. There were small floods frequently. We have experienced a lot of wildlife, bats- unsure if they were rabid. The health department came by and said they were testing and then on the news, there were reports of rabid bats in the area. We got a mouse and several huge spiders. The doors fall on you and the floors are uneven. In some parts upstairs there feels like there is no plywood so you feel like you are about to fall. One night while sitting outside with the bats around midnight, there was a girl that came through the back with a flashlight. She said that someone from the office told her that she could rent the apartment for the night. The person from the office left the back sliding door open and this was on a Saturday night, so the office was closed on Sunday. The next morning, the girl's boyfriend was over and they left a few hours later. It's upsetting to know that residents have to go through background checks but the office staff will "rent out the room for a night". We also moved out and bought a new house, during the move out the maintenance supervisor came over to do the final walkthrough. To say that he was knowledgeable of our situation is laughable. He took many different pictures and when we got the paperwork for the walkout, exaggerated the level of damage. Mind you, a lot was from flooding. We had to hire an attorney and were able to settle for WAY LESS than they wanted to charge. So, the moral of the entire situation, look somewhere else for an apartment

Been here right around 4 years and it’s been an all around great experience. The staff is helpful and friend plus they’ve made my two dogs and I feel at home since day 1.

Excellent maintenance and very good amenities good staff
I recently relocated to Louisville for a job. I was starting to lose hope in finding something that would fit all of my family's needs. After a month of looking, my wife and I decided try Plainview. After 5 weeks, I feel confident in giving this place 5 stars. They made moving in very easy, even during the pandemic. We have had a few issues with our unit, but every time we submit a request, they are there within 24hrs fixing the issue. The complex is clean and well maintained. The proximity to everything you need is amazing. I highly recommend Plainview to anyone out there looking for a place in the Jeffersontown area.

Last year when I moved to Louisville ...I was bit confused about choosing apartments as my family is with me and their security and comfort is my priority... Then some of my friends recommend me plainview apartments.. After shifting here we adjust here very well in few weeks because of nice apartment with number of facilities, friendly staff, very quick maintainance team, safe and healthy neighborhood and most importantly Initially I didn't have any vehicle but literally didn't face any of problem as grocery stores , restaurants, bus stop, school all are on walkable distance and primary reason for extending my stay here . The Plainview apartments are clean and safe, and staff is prompt in resolving any maintenance issues that may arise (which occur rarely). The staff is always friendly. My two favorite amenities are the gym and the pool. There is also a boot camp class offered twice a week for free that I always enjoy when I attend. I have lived in 4 apartment communities in Louisville. Plainview is the best. Energetic staff who always receive you with a smile and promptly respond and note your requirements. Turnaround time for any maintenance request is awesome. Unlike all the other 3 i have experience living in. Premises is well maintained. Trash is picked up at door. Nice pool, Gym, and Tennis court. The staff and company are compassionate and understanding. We had a short amount of time to move and other circumstances that made things complicated. The staff was happy to help and even stayed late waiting for us to arrive on our move in date. They are amazing and know how to make a person feel welcome. I have been a resident of Plainview Apartments from July 2013 to June 2016 and then for a year we had to shift somewhere else but couldn't stay else for a long time and within an year shifted back to Plainview and staying here for the past 2 years.The best part of this apartment complex is all the units are designed beautifully according to the needs of every family. Every apartment has a spacious kitchen which all the women would love.Whether it is the maintenance guys or addressing any complaints the Plainview office staff has been very welcoming and courteous to help us and listen to our complaints.The apartment has a well maintained gym and a good swimming pool. I am happy to suggest this Apartment to anyone looking for a good community and decent maintenance service and economical budget as far as rents are concerned. Plainview complex is the best apartment I have lived in and its beyond excellence in every aspect - be it building layout, maintenance, community cleanliness, office members, various residence models and all at reasonable price. If you are looking for living in a good, decent, peaceful and easy accessible to any stores or malls, then Plainview is the ONE! Townhomes are very impressive and big in size and so as 2BHK inside impressive blocks with all amenities. I’ve been living at Plainview for 6 months now and have loved it! The customer service is incredible and the staff are very friendly and helpful. And they like to have fun and make it an enjoyable place to live! They hold fun community events at least once a month, from resident appreciation week with food trucks, fitness classes at the onsite gym, and even free Hi-Fuve donuts! Also, maintenance is extremely quick and easy to access. It’s very affordable and spacious, near Kroger and Aldi, and very safe! Marie Ritschard

My name is Elena Smith and I have lived in Plainview Apartments twice now and have enjoyed my time living here. The staff is kind and courteous. The maintenance staff always comes in a timely manner. It is a pet friendly community, which is perfect since I have two dogs. In the summer, the pool is great! I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment in the Louisville area to check out Plainview Apartments!
I have been staying Plainview apartments from last Mar2018 with my family till now. They have been very prompt and respectful with us whenever we go to leasing office and inside the apartment area. If i have any maintenance request, they had responded immediately and resolved the issue on the same day. if any notifications/alerts, they will send it on time to aware of that during leave days. In plainview, they are scheduling boot camp in the gym for everyone. During summary session, we had celebrated different function in the swimming pool and this was my first experience and enjoyed a lot. Our apartment is very convenient to go to school for my son and lot of shops in the walkable distance. Buildings are very spacious and cleaned, got new neighbors and those are behaving friendly, lot of space in parking area. So, We love our apartment and just extended our lease for the second year. Honestly ,lately we moved to plan-view apartments. I describe plain View , plain heart Staff including reception, maintenance , Trash all are very friendly, reachable and understandable, duly this team incur their responsibilities , View is magnificent from my apartment , amenities including gym,sports area are incredible. #nag.
We moved to Plainview Apartments more than one year ago and just Love it. The staff is very nice and friendly. When you need something to be fixed they come within 2 hours. The area is very safe. Nice neighborhood. It is a very quiet place to live with family. Plus bonus, it is absolutely pet friendly. Very close to the grocery shops as ALDY, KROGERS, and multiple restaurants. They have gym year around, tennis court. During the summer you can enjoy your days in the pool. Affordable rent. Close to the highway junction 64, with minutes’ drive distance to downtown. I have lived in Plainview for five years & love it here. The community is safe, the maintenance service is fast & reliable, and there are always fun events throughout the year that residents can participate in. I've lived at Plainview Apartments for about 5 years now. In that time, they have been receptive and prompt any time I have a question or any maintenance requests. They have been, in general, what one would expect any well managed apartment property to be. They do, however, go beyond. A few years ago, I fell ill and called an ambulance. The ambulance passed the main office and someone from the office followed it to my unit to make sure they arrived at the right place and they made sure I made it to the ambulance safely. The staff member THAN proceeded to follow the ambulance to the hospital to ensure I made it there safely. The following day, I had family come by as I was still hospitalized and the office made sure my family had anything they might need while I was in the hospital. They followed my recovery through conversations with my family and checked in with them on my well being. When I was released, the staff continued to check back to make sure I was alright and how my continued recovery was proceeding. In short, I would recommend Plainview Apartments to anyone. Erik Reuter

Buildings are spacious and updated, neighbors are friendly, a lot of greenery around the apartments, and the staff are great. Out of 3 apartment societies I have lived in Louisville, Plainview has been hands down the best one! Their maintenance service is so quick, most of the request gets sorted the same day! Very convenient location, walkable to major grocery stores and eateries, well maintained amenities. Though I would love to see a kids playarea there in near future. We love our apartment and looking forward to extend our lease for the third year!! Highly recommended.

I have lived in 2 different apartments on the complex. The people in office have always been extremely helpful. They made the process of moving apartments so easy. They have even been nice enough to let my dog out when I can’t make it home on time. Can’t stress enough how great it is living here. It is so beautiful and the complex has great amenities.
I love Plainview Apartments so much that I am returning to live there! The office staff is top notch, professional and more than accommodating to their residents. The same can be said about the maintenance staff as well. Looking forward to living there again soon!
Beautiful sraff with positive energy and customer care that rival's the attention you would only expect to get from family or your best friend. Disaster struck late-night after 4th of July fireworks and maintenance showed up at midnight like it was 12noon to address my emergency issue. Weather postponed the repairs so I was offered elaborate accommodations at an area 5-star hotel until the work was completed. Thank You NTS you are #1 in my book.
