I had an absolutely amazing experience with the application process, it was quick and seamless. Great staff friendly and attentive, I worked with Kirsten and she was amazing wonderful woman and wonderful property.
Advantages: Area is nice. People are friendly. Clean buildings. Excellent customer service by the office (specially Kristin). Excellent maintenance staff. Disadvantages: 1. Two theft incidences. Thieves broke twice into my car. Not to blame the property but a disadvantage of the area. 2. Too many maintenance issues with the apartment. 15 maintenance work orders opened in less than two years. 1 administration order opened in the past two years
Having been a resident of Pembrook Club Apartments for over 3 years I am very satisfied with the overall experience. The apartment interior is "a step above" most other places I have rented in the past. The office staff has always been very friendly, courteous and helpful and they quickly handled whatever issues I might have had. I truly appreciate that the maintenance staff also responded immediately, and did a very thorough job resolving our problems. I would definitely recommend Pembrook Club Apartments as a safe, well kept and wonderful living experience.
Pembrook is a great apartment community. Close to everything you could want, shopping, 41, interstate, and Six Flags. The maintenance staff is amazing and the residents are so friendly and welcoming.
Great management. Complex is over priced and certain fees should be included in price rather than nickle and dime everyone. That's a real turn off especially the rent pricing varying seems a bit shady, sure people have to live somewhere but they want to feel like they got what they paid for and thats not the case at Pembroke in my observation from other who live here.
Very professional and request are always completed in a timely manner.

Great place to live. The staff are friendly and very professional. Great amenities too.
My family and I moved in about 4 months ago and love it here. We have had some maintenance requests already, although they have always responded quickly and repairs are completed promptly. The property is well maintained and the area is quiet and peaceful. Whenever I have questions, the leasing staff (Kirsten) has always responded quickly and has been amazing throughout our transition to moving here.
Great management in the leasing office. They are bound by limitations that corporate has restricted them to but they are good. Apartements are nice and maintained well just.
We chose Pembrook club apartments over several other choices due to the spaciousness of the apartments and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff especially Kirsten! She made our move in possible in a short period of time and has ensured we have everything we need.

This Place is Amazing, our favorite move so far! With my job we didnt really have the opportunity to see the property before we moved from another state, we didnt really know what we were walking into but were glad we took the chance, the staff at front office is exceptional! They made the entire process so smooth and stress free! We were able to just walk into our home when we got here and that was it! It was ours! everything way ready and theyve been so accommodating and understanding, the place was clean, we love the area, everything is like 5 mins away or less, we love how well kept and clean property is, the clean grass and dog run is very much appreciated for our pups, and the solid hardwood floors and central air, and the convenience of having our own washer/dryer in unit! We love it! Everything is so organized, theres a secured mail room for the packages, we really appreciate the lockable extra storage on the patio, and the garages. Were very happy here so far, Biggest Thank You Ms. Kirstin at front office, she the nicest lady youll ever meet, thank you for making this move so smooth and stress free for us.
Its a very friendly place to live. Not only because of the employees but the people who live here. Its our own little friendly community.
Too many fees
Overall, I really enjoy living here. It is a great first apartment. The apartment itself is very nice. Only issues or things that I feel can be better is again noise control. I work 3rd shift so not hearing any dogs bark or loud music is very important to me. Also, a ice maker would be awesome. Additionally, having a hose in the sink to spray dishes would be very nice. A good place to live just a few small things that can be improved
Negative: They have an excuse to come into your apartment AT LEAST once a month. (investor checks, maintenance checks.. w.e) Constantly move your stuff off the balcony for whatever reason. All the trees are very pretty but it causes lots of bugs and spiders in the spring, summer, and fall. You'll get bit by mosquitos just by walking to your car. Positives: Thick walls and the valet garbage is my favorite. Clean with friendly staff. Dog park is cute. Walking trail is nice. Quiet peaceful neighborhood.
We've lived here for 3 years. Our experience at Pembrook has been pretty positive. The maintenance guys are pretty awesome, they are on time, efficient and friendly. We didn't have many issues in the past 3 years, and when we had them, they got resolved pretty quickly. The walls are thick enough that you really don't hear what is going on with the neighbors next door and when you do is pretty minimal. I've used the gym, the pool, the computer, printer, dog trails, everything has been great! The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is that there is a charge of $4 for getting your rent stub, I really don't get it... Also, the rent did go up each year, don't remember by how much, but I was used to places usually increasing rent after 3-4 years. The location is pretty awesome, less than a couple of miles to the mall, grocery stores, library, gym (which has an indoor pool), great food places, park, post office, we walked to Six Flags whenever we went so we didn't have to deal with parking and got a nice little walk, again, GREAT LOCATION!
This is a great location. Next to Gurnee Mills and Six Flags amusement park. Minutes from Gurnee police and post office.safe. Best school districts. Fabulous ibrary. Easy entrance and exit to toll road and Route 41. Few minutes away from Wisconsin. Building well maintained, staff always helpful and polite. Maintenance quick turn around. Grounds well maintained. Lots of great restaurants and beautiful parks for the little ones. Walk and bike paths. Few minutes away from Independence Grove, where one can fish, paddle and row boats available for rental. Great picini area, great location for a wedding, conferences, any special events. All in all a great place to live.
When my family moved into the Pembrook Club Apartments, we knew that this was where we wanted to be. The unit had more space, 2 bath rooms, a washer & dryer in unit, and an outside storage unit. Also its close to my favorite spot, The golden coral. Also when you place a work order in, it is handle the very next day. The staff are friendly. We have lived here for over a year and have not tried the fitness center yet.. Shame on us.

I love this apartment, I would give these Apts I would give this apartment more than a 5 star. Unfortunately, I have to find a cheaper apt. I just pray to God for either a real nice apt, or stay here rent free for life. Maybe my bad luck would turn around for the good. I am on disability. Any way enough of my problems.
