The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Pelican Bay Apartment Homes
Pelican Bay is a company they will find every single thing not to give you your deposit back they will come with everything not to give you a deposit, back roaches mass mole mildew. That place is disgusting sewage water if you are planning to take out your meat to soak in the kitchen sink the sewage water come up in the kitchen sink in your living room, stink of sewage, water, if next-door doing laundry Next door laundry water come inside your kitchen sink and they have nothing to do. About it all they said say about it all they do come there do little work and leave that’s all and when you’re planning to leave when moving out of the apartment, they will they will come there when u moving an take pictures you don’t even clean the apartment as yet but they take pictures during the time the time you you’re moving out and state that we didn’t clean in the apart they are lying I hate this place I would never recommend no one to live here roaches mole mildew. This place is disgusting.
The office staff was amazing.Jackie,Laura and Hanz was so helpful and helped me get an apartment Friendly and definitely recommend
I have never lived at such a poorly ran apartment. And I used to live in Macedonia. The management is a joke I don’t know if they are not relating anything to the maintenance man or the maintenance man or just not doing their jobs. I told them I had more than my house and the guy showed up with a bottle of bleach. They told me they wouldn’t tear down the ceiling that was covered in mold they were just patch the small hole that was leaking and not fix the hole in the roof where the water source was coming from.
In all my years of apartment living I’ve never lived in such a Horribly ran apartment. The maintenance man don’t do anything they claim that they’re understaffed. But I’ve seen six of them hooking up a trailer. My last two apartments one guy ran one and then the other one two guy’s ran it. And it was never this bad. They don’t send pest control maintenance guy showed up with a can of raid. The rent is unreasonable for such a trashy living environment. There is a pile of furniture and mattresses by the dumpsters that seem to never leave.
They have unresponsive and neglectful management who do not ensure that safety hazards and maintenance needs are fixed in a timely and proficient manner. They have repeatedly left unsafe conditions fester in my Aunt's apartment for months.
It was great at first, until we got new manaegement. I have a lot of negative, but you decide if the positive outweighs the negative. We've had someone try to break in at night, messed up our front door lock, the back door locks have always been difficult to use. You can't fully open the door in the kitchen because they are small and hit the stove. We've had our cars broken into 3 times. Roaches are a constant in the kitchen area. Hot water heaters have broken twice. Washer has leaked all the water out since we moved in. Water damage from no one coming to fix these problems, although it's been reported multiple times. They went up 50$ on our rent (tried to go up 100$), and moved the business office, due to new management. On call maintenance guy tore closet door apart, I have pictures, scratched our floors... no one came to re-do that. Our sink leaks, bathrooms had things cracking off the bottom of the mirrors when we moved in, I had to put tape over it to keep it from chipping off everytime I clean. The fire alarm would go off anytime I would use the oven. On the bright side, we do have a washer and dryer in our unit. I do enjoy the location being next to downtown panama city, and our walking track outside, very convenient geographical region. I love the living room floors, and the closets. It's my first apt with my husband so I don't have a lot to compare it to. I'll leave the decision up to you.
I lived at this apartment complex for almost a year now and i never had a problem. If i needed maintenance, they were there. It's very quit and peaceful. The complex is right next to a Fitness park that i use everyday. The staff are very nice and the pest control is always on time. I would recommend Pelican Bay Apartments to everyone.
Pelican Bay apartments are not what they seem from their pictures. Management sucks and it is in a bad area. I would say the only plus is that the front door has a lock on it.
