Property Ratings at Parkwood
The building is from the 70s don’t let the pictures fool you. Only about 4 apartments are remodeled the rest are straight from the 70s-80s. Paper thin walls, chunks of iron in the water, outdated appliances, birds and squirrels living in the ceilings. Property manager is very unprofessional and cares less about the tenants. There definitely is NOT emergency maintenance; you’ll be lucky if your maintenance request gets answered within a week. Neighbor was told by maintenance “we don’t work on units while they are occupied.” Rent is as high as a mortgage payment.
Most of the apartments located in Marshfield are owned by the same company, and are all junk. Aside from always being able to hear your neighbors through the paper thin walls and floors, the units are outdated for what they charge, especially in such a small town. Foremost worst part of this complex is the 1980's washers and dryers that they charge $1.50 each, and they barely clean/always leave my cloths wet after use. Or they are out of order for months on end, opposed to buying a new more reliable unit. The property manager cares little about the tenants, overall I would never recommend renting from Northern Management if possible.
