Property Ratings at Parkwood Apartments
If I could give less of a rating I would. Each time it rains, my whole apartment floods. I've literally had puddles in my bedroom on multiple occasions. The response from maintenance is that they'll build a wall, which has not been built. This has happened many times in the past 5 months. I haven't had padding in my apartment from the first time Stanley Steamer came to clean and this was in February. The maintenance department hasn't even came to measure to replace the padding, so I just have concrete under my carpet. Im pretty sure the room my newborn used to sleep in has mold. Also the leasing department is terrible. I have to call them to put in orders for the maintenance team to come in and they don't even do it. My toilet didn't flush for over a month because the maintenance team didn't even know. The leasing office just expects you to live in the mess and damage until you leave. The rent only continues to go up and you're expected to just accept these terrible living conditions. I would 100% not recommend.

i don’t know where to begin- they switched our unit last minute and gave us a unit that looked nothing like the model home. they “lost” our rent one month and i had to pay to cancel my checks. the management is awful. most unprofessional place you could rent from.
I’ve lived here for almost 5 years. I do not recommend. The management is rude and sloppy. Maintenance requests take forever to be addressed. There are rats and roaches. Apartments are very old and outdated. No cameras in facility to protect residents from crime. Only pro about this place is that it’s nicely located and close to places. Rent at your own risk!
This apartment is not what I expected only been here for a week and already looking for another place. When I signed my lease there was a pipe issue that burst. They had to fix the apartment while I was in the process of moving in. The toilet is still not fix constantly running throughout the night and day water is randomly on the floor. I ask for an exterminator for the roaches still nobody has came. Nobody even cleaned the apartment before I moved in vent and ceiling fan were not acceptable . The electrical socket are not even working or placed on right. The neighbors are horrible playing loud music all through out the night. They have no curtains or blinds so you see and hear everything that's going on. And there smoking marijuana And it comes right through your vents leaving your kids to inhale.If you're looking to rasie a family I highly recommend you try another place because Parkwood is not it.
