Poway, dubbed as “The City in the Country,” sits 25 miles to the northeast of San Diego, making it just close enough to enjoy the amenities of living in a large metropolitan area, while being far enough away for residents to keep their distance when they want to.
Residents of Poway enjoy their outdoor space, like, a lot. A popular hiking destination spot is to the Potato Chip Rock, a very thin boulder overlooking the picturesque Blue Sky Canyon. Lake Poway is another area for outdoor recreation. Locals make their way to the lake to enjoy boating, swimming, and fishing.
Old Poway Park is a family-friendly attraction. Residents enjoy a ride around the park on the Poway-Midland Railroad. They also like to tour the town’s Heritage Museum and pick up produce at the community farmer’s market. Living here, you’re close to Interstate 15 and great local shops and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my 6 month stay at this Parkview Village Apartments. The apartments are quite affordable for the Poway area and have been newly renovated. Very convenient location to all the stores you need and has great walking trails around. Danny the manager is very attentive and very flexible with my needs. Maintenance always comes very quickly to fix problems and there weren't many. Only downside is parking is limited but there is street parking in the area.
Muy apartment is very expensive ... never give maintenance..
