Property Ratings at Parkside Apartments
The walls and floors are extremely thin. I could hear the person above me on the phone every night. When I first moved in, my apartment had mice. A lot of spiders, mostly daddy long legs. And during the warmer months, wasps made their way into the apartment, several in a day. I really wasn't able to live there during the warmer months due to the wasps. I let the office know, but nothing was done about it, however, they did fix the mice problem. The people in the office and maintenance are nice and professional.
This apartment is alright, the management was ify, maintenance was really nice. The walls and floor are horribly thin, the internet I had installed runs at the best speed possible in that area HOWEVER they need to update their wiring (which is why it caught fire i.e) and to do that you have to go through x amount of changes basically it was never done and my internet sucked majorly managment said that no one else complained so it wasn't their problem (I worked from home) so it ended up being my home or my job...I had to move because of that and lately they've updated some apts please don't be fooled they are literally the same as the unupdated ones with new appliances....the area is ok when they're not shooting or someone isn't getting almost dying from a gun shot wound in the parking lot (the security is a joke) but you know for the price its cool.
