Situated in west Texas along the Rio Grande, just north of the United States-Mexico border, El Paso embraces the past while building the future. Chamizal National Memorial, a museum and park, honors the peaceful settlement of the Chamizal boundary dispute while the University of Texas at El Paso fosters tomorrow’s leaders.
El Paso is known as the Sun City, boasting over 300 days of sunshine every year. There are plenty of venues to enjoy the frequent sunshine, including the El Paso Zoo, Franklin Mountains State Park, and nearby Wet n Wild Waterworld. The Rio Grande is a popular spot for whitewater rafting, canoeing, and fishing as well.
Should you want to head indoors, you have the option to catch a performance at the Plaza Theatre, indulge in authentic Mexican cuisine, admire the works in the El Paso Museum of Art, and tour the El Paso Museum of History in addition to the El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Parkland Pointe
You can really see the improvement that the new management has implemented. From repaving the parking lot to get rid of pot holes and re painting the parking lanes, to also having a 24 hr maintenance line. The maintenance team have been great. No matter is too big or too small for Vanessa in the office she's so helpful. And Joanna is very welcoming and patient with any questions i may have about the property. The maintenance team have been doing a great job in all aspects and the place is kempt and only continuing to improve.
if you live dirty then this is the place for you. the ac never works , when it rains it smells like fish , the vents don’t work so when it’s hot it gets humid and you always feel so sticky and dirty . they’re always gnats coming in, in the summer and they fly anywhere in your home. management is always rude when you need maintenance and doesn’t ever come by & doesn’t fix anything. my exhaust fan in the restroom has been broken for months my ac doesn’t turn on anymore . you literally stop caring to call maintenance because they don’t do anything to fix what you need , it’s just dirty . these apartments are old so it always feels so dirty and smelly . maintenance doesn’t come and that’s an issue with management being switched so much that it’s always a problem. the walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor talking or even snoring at night. no privacy in your own home. if you are financially stable please find a place that’s worth it and ask questions before moving to any place you wanna call home
