With its spectacular mountain views and numerous palm trees, Chino is a favorite city in San Bernardino County for good reason. The city is adjacent to Chino Hills State Park, a popular area in the Santa Ana Mountains foothills for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Chino is also home to Prado Regional Park, a popular park with a fishing lake, hiking and biking trails, campgrounds, a disc golf course, picnic areas, horseback riding, and a shooting range where shooting events were held during the 1984 Summer Olympics.
As a key city of the Inland Empire, Chino has a long history as a hub for agriculture, especially dairy farming. The city's slogan reflects its agricultural roots: Where Everything Grows. While it is much more suburban today, the city still retains some of its rural feel. The city is award-winning and is often used as a filming location. Downtown Chino hosts a variety of events, including a weekly farmers market.

Property Ratings at Park West Apartments
Every unit in this place is infested with roaches. They look nice from the onset but everything in them is cheap and falling apart. The “wood” floors are cheap fake stickers that look like wood. The paint will peel off the walls even if you put just tape up on them. The roaches are the worst part though. No matter how much you spray, trap, or fumigate they will come from every crack and crevice in those apartments. Especially in the kitchen and bathrooms but we saw them in the bedrooms and living room as well. The fact that they’re now asking over 2 grand for one of these units is completely laughable. You will also never find parking and the “gated” community’s gate is always broken so your car may get broken into as well. Avoid at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere.
I like it because it's quiet here and safety. The staff is very helpful and efficient.
Worst place to live most units are filled with roaches they try to do everything they can to keep your deposit when you leave don't recommend this place.
Lived here 3 yrs, 1st yr roach free, 2 yrs infested w/roachs d/t dirty ngbrs moving in. Mngmnt did nothing but spray here&there. Out of $ 525 deposit they're trying to return $62!! In speaking to them, couldn't get their story straight on what they owed me.
I like it because it's quiet here and no one really bothers us. The staff is very helpful and efficient. I really like the location because it is in between Chino Hills and Chino as well as Ontario, Montclair, Upland and Pomona.
The staff is wonderful and the apartments are very nice, I have loved my year with Park West. There are two pools so neither is ever too crowded and a nice outdoor area with barbecues for parties! Events held year round and convenient on-site laundry rooms, I always feel at home here.
