Shelbyville, also known as “The Walking Horse Capital of the World” and “The Pencil City,” has produced well-known congressmen and Academy-Award-nominated actresses, but the city’s real calling card is its small town allure. There are homes of styles radiating out from the city center, and loft apartments on offer in the downtown area.
The town exudes a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and has a plethora of thriving small businesses. You won’t be wanting for nightlife options either, as there’s a popular bowling alley, movie theater, and locally owned bars to enjoy.
The city has plenty of parks to enjoy, from HV Griffin Park and Never Rest Park, to the Duck River Dam that’s been seen in movies. Shelbyville’s annual horse show excites residents and brings in visitors from all over Tennessee, but U.S. 231 and U.S. 41A are rarely overcrowded.

Problems with garbage pick-up. Bedroom window leaking for 6 months. Been iving here 15 years, never late on rent, now being told remodels will be done this year but rent will be $400-500 increase. I'm on SSI and won't be able to pay this so 15 years means nothing to this corporation.

The apartments are nice and the lady’s in the office are amazing and nice it takes a long time to get new appliances but they try their best to get them when you need them

Patti our mgr. is the best stays on top of things and treats her residents as family She doesnt tolerate a lot of nonsense she does a great job! Jenny her assistant is one of the best I am not computer savvy and she helped me set up my rent coming out of my checking acct She took a big worry off me! And Brad maintenance is awesome Brad knows all of the residents and checks on us older residents if the weather is getting bad asking fo we need anything. He will stay late to resolve any problems until they are fixed.His kindness and dedication is so appreciated by so many. A great team Patti,Jenny and Brad they are family

It's a nice place to live, looks nice, people are sweet and it is right in the middle of everything you need. Lowe's, Taco Bell, Walmart, Sonic, etc.. is all right there. only thing is maintance can sometimes take awhile to fix anything and sometimes you don't receive letters when they are going to do something.
I love living here at park trail,it is close to most restaurants and shopping,the apartments are nice and spacious,and the maintenance personnel are great people and friendly,and office ladies are nice too,park trail is a pretty place too live.
The people who work in the office and the maintenance men are very kind and friendly. They do a good job keeping the grounds clean and looking nice.
This page states that this property is smoke free. But when the property manager, the maintenance guys, and many of the residents all smoke...it’s not smoke free. And it permeates the walls.

I love it my apartment is nice neighbors could be better but I mind my business and stay in the house Im peaceful and Ms. Patty is great she has a great attitude she straight forward and honest
I love the community, very clean, and have the best staff ever. Patty, Brad & Michael are always quick to help and very polite. I love where I live!
I always go to the office and complain but sometimes things need to be done not only the front that should be clean everywhere supposed to be clean.
