North Lauderdale is a suburban community situated 10 miles inland about halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. This dynamic area has come a long way from its agricultural roots. This up-and-coming city is booming in development and population. Renters have an array of amenity-laden apartments and condos to choose from. Thanks to the city’s growth, locals enjoy a unique blend of international shops and restaurants. Everything from a Cuban grocery store, a Polish deli, to an El Salvadorian grill can be found within North Lauderdale’s borders. In addition to the many public parks in town, residents of North Lauderdale can easily visit the numerous world-class golf courses surrounding the city, and of course the region’s famous beaches are only a few minutes east.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at One Park Plaza Apartments
Been here 1 plus year an I got no problem other from the entrance I would rather a Secure Gate but besides that there’s a secure service car that do a pretty good job at night plus the customer service of the front desk is wonderful
All the advertisements they say is not true. Things are falling a part. It’s not worth the money they want you to pay for rent. They haven’t pained or give the place a facelift in years so I’m wondering where is all that rent money going. Elevator has not been updated since 2021 and is always breaking down. Noise is unbearable. I won’t give it any stars but I can’t leave a review without choosing one.
Rats and Roaches, car break-ins, loud music, fistfights in the parking lot, rude management, extremely aggressive parking enforcement, irregular trash pick up, dog urine in the stairwells, consistently raising the rent for fun. This place is a slum, and they are proud of it.
No maintenance. Roaches infested. And the place is stink..garage is inside the building and it's always over flowing.they don't fix anything.and the boys always pee in the stair ways.this place is horrible, dirty and expensive for no reason
DO NOT move here if you’re working from home or have a low tolerance for loud noises. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors through the day and night. The neighbors upstairs ride their electric scooter INSIDE the apartment and there’s constant pounding as if they’re doing construction. My daughter moved out because she suffers from anxiety and it became too much for her. I’ve asked to be moved but that there was no follow up. The hallways are usually wet with Lord knows what and children are always running down the hallways. I’m stuck here because I can’t keep moving my company’s equipment. I’ll give it another year and pray that the ones upstairs move out. This place is not for mature people who just want to live in peace.
Quiet place with plenty of parking space but they have bed bugs everywhere and when go to the office they rude, trash everywhere, management isn’t good and something always messed up in the house
"Luxurious" PARK PLAZA.. where the word luxury is only added to make the price right.. ?? where the cabinets in the kitchen are made so you can not open them because they go against the size of the stove.. roaches and brown recluse spiders along the halls like they are part of your monthly rent.. security doors that never stay locked defeating the purpose of having them.. tennis courts where you have to play imaginary tennis.. secured entrance gates that open and close unlimited for "ANYONE" considering there is no personalized card or code needed to enter the property.. worst of all NO SIDE WALK THAT LEADS TO THE MAIN SIDE WALK ON 81ST TO CROSS PUTTING AT RISK ANY ONE PEDESTRIAN NEEDING TO WALK SOMEWHERE OR KIDS WALKING TO SCHOOL/CATCH A BUS.. yup! "LUXURIOUS PARK PLAZA" make sure they give you the real tour.
I lived there for a couple years and recently moved. Let me give my honest review of the place. When I first moved there the rent was reasonable but since they have new owners they have increased the rent to match the going rate in Fort Lauderdale, this has create hardship for a lot of old time residents. The maintenance crew is very good over the years, call them and they are there to fix whatever needs to be fixed. I read a review talking about roach infestation, whenever I had roach problem and I called they always came to spray for me. Lucy, the manager is nice but if she tells you something you have to let her give you in writing because she will promise or say something and when time to deliver she will say she never said that. Just make sure you get whatever she says in writing. The tennis court is a waste of space, it could be used for a basket ball court and a children play area. Overall I felt safe in my building and its is not a bad place to live. Its just too overpriced now. They do not like to return your deposit so make sure everything is good or they will find everything not to return your deposit.
Do not move here this place is very nasty ?? they don’t clean the office manager she very rude unprofessional I don’t know how she get this job
I love the spacious rooms. It is so centrally located to Publix...Broward Meat....Bank...Dollar Store etc. They have the advantage with space over other places I have looked at. I wish they had washer and dryer in the units. That's the low point with other places. Hope they think about it.
Needs to do MAJOR pest control..Always see a roach or two crawling around....seriously.. There are garbage shoot in the buildings and not ONE pest control guy comes around EVER...increase in rent for Nothing...everything is covered up.. elevator is low maintenance. It's just not fair for the PRICE..units do not have washer and dryer. The ones in the building are ALWAYS not working. Appliances are FUGAZY....they need to change management asap. Kids outside don't even have a solid play ground in there OWN community..They shoot their basketballs in a monkey gym...Its called "Park Plaza" for noooo reason.. Tennis area can be used for a basketball court. Do not believe the hype..please. thank you.
Park Plaza apartments is a great place to live. It has a pool, tennis court and park for kids and families. The office staff and maintenance are very helpful. The only few problems would be that the apartments tend to have leaks and there is constant noise. Overall, Park Plaza is a suitable place to live.
Nice area To live Great schools close to shopping and park area mall etc
