The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Park Place at Foley
I’ve been here for 10 months and have had nothing but issues since I moved it. The first 3 weeks after we moved in the AC didn’t work. The maintenance was consistently “trying to fix it”. Then the dishwasher stopped working and water was going all over the floor AND the kitchen sink would back up. Pouring water all over the floor. Then about 3 months after I started noticing mold along the base boards under the windows in the bedrooms. I found mold growing all in the cracks of the windows and into the walls and carpet. Called the office and complained and they said it was just condensation from the window. So they came and “cleaned it up”. Another 2 months pass and it’s once again mold growing down the wall and baseboards. Since I felt like the office had no concern I hired an outside company to check out the mold. Glad I did because they found a leak in the wall behind the drywall from outside and the walls were full of moisture and mold and recommended the whole window and portion of the wall needed to be replaced. I informed the office and sure enough they had there “own” ways of cleaning up. After maintainable came and tried to take care of it they realized the job was much bigger and had to get another company to fix it. The company came in and completely gutted both windows and portions of the wall in both bedrooms. Took longer than a week to finish and fix the drywall and paint. Didn’t offer anything while this was going on. The apartment smelled terrible and the windows were open and exposed the whole time. My daughter and I had to stay with family till it was complete. After all that was fixed sure enough a few months later mold was back to growing all over the windows. So many things in these apartments are just “maintained” and not trying fixed. I requested to break my lease early and called abc complained to the corporate office too and got the run around or no response at all. Can’t get out of this lease soon enough!!!!!
I lived there for 8 years. Praise God I moved out in February. My a/c went out in the middle of August and it took them 2 weeks to fix it. They kept trying to duct tape it up.. and then realized it needed a new one. It took over a week to get here. They kept saying.. it's on back order. Whatever.. Any idiot knows you can get units locally. They did give me 2 portable units, one for each bedroom. There are no windows in the common area of the apartment... so while the bedroom was decent, the living room/kitchen was 90 plus degrees. I have a 2 year old son!!!! Management never contacted me to apologize. They never even compensated me for this. This happened right in between my electric bill cycles. My first bill was roughly $275 and my second one was $306. On top of this problem.. there is a ton of other things wrong with this property. There is always trash bulging over and all around the dumpsters. The gates surrounding the dumpsters are always broken and stay broken for months and months. Back in June/July the pool was so green you couldn't even see the bottom. It was so bad the health department closed it down. There is no bathrooms at the pool, so where do you think everyone uses the bathroom? The laundry room stays filthy.. and not to mention one of the electrical outlets has no cover. There is always broken glass around the property. No lie... i called the office and left a voicemail stating glass was in a certain area and that they needed to clean it up. One week later the glass was still there. What?? The landscaping is horrible... The only thing they do is cut the grass. They never trim bushes, ever! There is just so much more to say.. This property has went down majorly over the years. The office staff has no training, they are absolutely horrible. I have pictures!!
A great place to live. Management really listens to any problems you are having, and they try to handle them as quickly as they can. The apartments allow pets, and they have a pet area where you can walk your dog's. The only bad thing is if you have children there is no place for them to play, although they do have a pool.
