Located about four miles east of Downtown San Diego, Mountain View earned its name because of its clear views of San Miguel Mountain. The neighborhood has a relaxed vibe, a strong sense of community, and plenty of parks. Residents gather at the Mountain View Community Center to shoot hoops or spend time outdoors at the adjacent Mountain View Park. Greenwood Memorial Park and Southcrest Community Park sit just outside the neighborhood on the north and south ends, respectively.
There are many apartments and houses for rent in the area, particularly near National Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard. Mountain View has a few shops and cafes in the area, including Ayberto’s. When locals crave more nightlife, they drive over to the Gaslamp District for a night out on the town.

Worst place every been buildings infested with dirty mice told the manager does nothing bout the problem but place pesky traps that dont do krap HELLO!! There's problaby a colony of them all over!!! and send meaningless pest control that dont do krap about the problem .. Would even recommend this place to my worst enemy not to mention they increase the rent like if it was worthy. Park crest..What a dump!!!
Very fast with any maintenance issues. Rent is ok but increases are always larger than any raises you get at your job :(
