Property Ratings at Avion Place
I have lived at Parc Chalet for 9 years, 3 years in an apartment and 6 years in a townhome. Ownership has changed many times. The new owners, Soundview Equities are horrible. They removed all the screen doors from the townhomes. They let the grass be uncut for over a month. My ceiling collapsed in the upstairs bathroom on July 27, 2022, and still has not been repaired. No one responds to my emails, when I stop by the office inquiring when the ceiling will get repaired, I’m told someone will come out after lunch. One guy came and took pictures and said would come back, never showed. Another guy came and looked and said would be back the next day to repair and did not show. I definitely will not be renewing my lease and I would not recommend anyone living anywhere Soundview Equities owns. They are very good liars, I stayed in the apartments and there was no dishwasher or ice maker. I see on the website, they list dishwasher and ice maker in the apartments. Not true.

Pretty easy how they will charge you for late fee when you miss a payment but it’s hard for them to return your money back after moved out. I lived there for 2 years. I always paid my rent on time and never missed any single payment. I kept the apartment clean. But it’s been more than 30 days (days stipulate on lease to receive your money) that I moved out and I still didn’t received my security deposit + others money. I called many times but nothing yet. Very frustrating.
Been living here for two years and have seen a minimum of 100,000 roaches...... no lie! Management does nothing. No park, and one washer and dryer per building (that breaks monthly). Had to drain my clothes out by hand on two occasions. Need I say more?
The biggest issue is second-hand smoke. Our contract says it's a smoke free apartment but apparently that just means we're not allowed to smoke, there is no guarantee that it is a smoke free environment and it definitely is not! The dangers of second-hand smoke are very serious and there should be a health code that prevents people from signing a contract before they are told of their guaranteed exposure. Only lived here a month but I had a sore throat on and off and I am anxious to find out if there will be any long term effects to my health. DO NOT LIVE HERE! Besides the smoke the only issue is maintenance. I thought the guy was pretty on top of things because he showed up quickly to fix anything wrong, however he is not good at his job. He came three times to fix a leak and it still leaks. Several times he came and "fixed" something we didn't ask him to come for and made it worse. Eventually we just stopped asking. All in a month...yeah, don't live here

As in any lease we have to "Grand Father in" those who do smoke and when they leave we only accept Non Smokers at Parc Chalet. This is a Smoke Free Campus, in the buildinds as well as as the units.
I am so very impressed with how management takes care of any issue immeadatley! Great attitude and very clean property. NO Crime here.

I would never ever live here even if someone paid me a million dollars. They are infested with roaches, the drug use in these apartments is terrible. Its a nasty place to live.

I am sorry you have not had a good experience at Parc Chalet Apartments. I am unaware of a pest control issue as we offer third party bi-weekly pest control and have not had an infestation surface. We are also enrolled in the Crime Free Housing program and are notified from our local police municipality when illegal activity is reported. We have not been informed of drug dealing and would be open to any information you could provide us that has not been reported to the proper authorities. Management is available Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to address any issues you may have with your home or the community. I appreciate your feedback and look forward to speaking with you. Don't move in here. I live for one year and this place is very small . it's not worth the time of day. I had some issues since I be living here. The first month the bathroom was leaking really bad .it took them three months to fix it and also they're trying to make me pay a extra month of rent because I will not renew my lease. If anybody looking keep going this place is a joke. Unknown tenant

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HORRIBLE, APARTMENT COMPLEX. NEW MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE, ARROGANT, AND HAS NO CLUE ON HOW TO RUN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. THEY TRY TO EVICT PEOPLE WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE COURTS. THE APARTMENTS ARE IN THE WORSE CONDITION. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX TO ANYONE. STAY FAR AWAY!

I been in this apartment for over 5 years and never had any major issues such as bad neighbors, crime nor management. The one bedroom apartments are all electric and its enough space for one person. There's a washer/dryer in every unit and the rent is fairly priced. If you looking for a nice apartment where there's not a lot of trouble nor crime. This is the apartment to consider.
