Property Ratings at Palms at Vero Beach
They work on maintaining the outside but the inside is a mess... Theaots flood eceytine it rains and they still refused to fixed those old beat up front doors.. They’re more concerned with what they can charge you Xtra than what needs to be fixed... Maintenance SUCKS... No one answers the phones but they’ll quickly reside and collect that rent .. Haited it couldn’t wait to leave ...Management will do home inspections just to see what they can charge you xtra ... They don’t fix anything and they don’t maintain the inside of those apts
Wrote a very truthful accurate living review of The Palms and this site rejected it. Oh Because the Apartments does not like the possible renter to read the truth, I have it all documented and verified. The Palms is not a place to live. It looks decent but inside is another case. The Palms does not maintain the units. They flood due to the rains all the time (Once again documented). My unit flooded a few times a year due to the AC handler and they put a new one in and it still flooded. They do not have enough maintenance workers at times. Work requests do not get fulfilled for up to a month. I developed a bad skin condition due to the carpet and the flooding that occurred over the years( It was not new when I moved in and supposedly they would change it after a few years of living there, they didn't) had it in writing. I lived there for 9 years. When I moved out it went away. The light in the kitchen flooded with water from the master shower and the management said it was because of the shower head. It fell and crashed in the ground. Someone could have been badly hurt or killed. The neighbors, you never knew who you were going to live there. Unfortunately, there were several drug dealers through out the years there. Once again this is all on record and verified. The company that owns this place does not care and does not call back. It was beautiful when it was first built but since has become very dumpy.
My 3bdrm apt is spacious with lots of storage and a separate dining area, but when you need any repairs maintanence takes there time to get to you. I needed the toilet seat replaced and after 6 weekly calls it took a complete 6 weeks to have it replaced. I am now on week 2 waiting for my kitchens florescent light to be replaced. If you need space with lots of storage move here, but dont expect anything to be taken care of in a timely manner.
It is an overall nice place to live. Very quiet, beautiful landscape kept nice, friendly and I enjoyed the three years that I have been here since moving from Massachusetts. Glad this was my first and only choice!
Its not a bad complex, the only thing is the pool is closed when the office is closed. So there is no swimming on holidays or Sundays.
