Located about 14 miles from Downtown Kentucky, Pleasure Ridge Park provides residents with the opportunity to live close to the city while still having plenty of space and peace in the outer loop. The western edge of Pleasure Ridge Park is dominated by light industry warehouses and corporate offices while the rest of the neighborhood is filled with residential streets and parks. There are chain restaurants, department stores, and more located along U.S. Routes 60 and 31W, which run on the eastern edge of Pleasure Ridge Park. Pleasure Ridge Park is very affordable compared to other Louisville neighborhoods, but there are moderately priced rentals present as well. This wooded suburban neighborhood offers renters convenient drives to some of Louisville’s most popular destinations including the University of Louisville, the Louisville International Airport, and Churchill Downs, home of the iconic Kentucky Derby.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Paddocks at Ridge Park
The staff in the office are highly unprofessional and rude. They tend to get offended by their own work performance. Maintenance has to be somebody they found on the side of the road with a toolbox that doesn't speak any english and can't even comprehend the actual problem at hand. They cover holes with pizza boxes and paint, clean out apartments and literally throw the trash right in front of the entrance door and never pick it up, and also lease apartments with literal soiled carpet from dog and/or cat urine. This is literally the worst apartment complex that I have ever signed a lease for and I wish I would have ran from this property when tenants from the same complex told me all the problems they were having. To each their own for whoever is willing to give this property a chance but this is literally a forewarning to avoid this property and if you don't, then good luck!!!! I cannot express how disappointed I am in this property and their staff. I'm literally going to throw a moving out party when my lease is up.
This place is good for what you pay. Some things are bad. Laundry is way too much, they charge 400 non refundable deposit. Other than that no bugs, maintenance comes in a timely manner, it’s nice enough.
I wanna start by saying that I could have done a lot worse with finding my first apartment. We rent the cheapest model without a balcony, dishwasher, or washer/dryer hookups. This place hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been an alright experience. The office staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, and we’ve never had a problem with maintenance. They did a wonderful job breaking down and explaining everything to me and my room mate when we first moved in. My unit in particular had loud squeaky windows that were hard to open and shut, the bathroom sink had to be fixed twice because of leaking, and some of repairs and remodeling done before we moved in seemed sloppy and rushed. But all of the problems have been fairly small and insignificant. The only problem we’ve had with the office is they’ve been hard to reach on occasion. My biggest complaint for this place has been with our neighbors, but the office staff handled every complaint and situation accordingly. Overall, not terrible. But it definitely has its quirks.
