On the shores of the Lake of the Ozarks lies Osage Beach. A scenic city that rests half in Camden County and half in Miller County. As one of the best places to retire in Missouri, Osage Beach has a laidback feel with plenty of popular local spots that offer fantastic views of the water.

Waterfront restaurants like Backwater Jacks and Dog Days Bar and Grill serve up classic American food accented by live music during the summer. For those more inclined to get out on the water, there are a number of marinas that can store your boat, and Osage Beach City Park provides plenty of green space for kids and adults.

The majority of apartments here offer fantastic views of the lake, or get you very close. US-54 will be the main thoroughfare for those who commute or want to visit St. Louis that sits just to the east.
