The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Oxford Oaks Apartments
While there are some minor inconveniences and minor maintenance issues, the staff does the best that they can to make sure that residents are happy and honor their word for the most part. Neija especially, while getting a little backed up in the application process due to various circumstances, she did everything she possibly could to make sure that I moved in on time and honored all the specials for the time being. Very kind and down-to-earth person. Also, very affordable and in a solid location.

We believe in providing prompt, personalized service, and we are glad to hear that Neija was able to meet your specific needs! If there is anything we can do for you as you settle in, please do not hesitate to let us know. Your comfort is our top priority, and we look forward to helping you make our community feel like home.
While these apartments are affordable, I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with maintenance. My AC has been broken for over two weeks, and despite multiple requests, the team keeps closing the tickets without actually fixing anything. With the rising heat, it has been really difficult to live comfortably, but unfortunately, there’s been no real effort to resolve the issue. On top of that, a broken staircase in the complex was also reported, but instead of fixing it, the ticket was simply closed. It feels like maintenance requests are ignored rather than addressed, which is really disappointing. Yes, the rent here is lower than other places, but the amount of money and effort we end up investing in these non-functional apartments adds up quickly. If you’re considering moving in, I’d strongly recommend looking into a well-maintained community instead—one where issues are actually taken care of.

I highly suggest looking elsewhere for a place to live. I had a water leak that unfortunately turned to mold. The leasing management is completely useless. Save your money for something better!
We were out from AC for 2 months and it took constant nagging and phone calls everyday to get them to fix it. We now have a gnat infestation that we can't get treated.
My AC has been broken for an entire year. Nova only has 2 maintenance workers on staff for all of their properties, so Oxford Oaks never has anything get done. Avoid renting from any property owned by Nova. They will not fix your leaks or broken AC. They might give you a really loud and old window AC unit though, hope that makes it worth the increase in rent price this year.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with the maintenance issues. We understand how frustrating it can be when things don't get resolved in a timely manner. We're constantly working on improving our services and your feedback is invaluable in this process. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
First off, the office staff has to be illiterate! They are rude and can’t decide what information they need. Every person you talk to says something different. NOBODY is on the same page about anything. Secondly, the apartments are disgusting! They smell musty and like wet dog. Carpets are gross. Sagging ceilings from what appears to be water leaks. AC units don’t run well. You’re better off changing the filters yourself. It’s flipping hot.
Worst management. Lack of communication and when it didn't go their way they'd blame you. I would not recommend it.
I have a 3 br, the price is WAY too high for the number of problems we've had living here. The parking lot spaces are so small that you will have dings on your car from neighbor's cars. Water leaks in from our window when it rains heavily. Our bathtub has been dripping since we moved in and have requested for it to be fixed multiple times, still not fixed. Our water heater closet has leaked into our hallway. Emergency Maintenace goes straight to voicemail. The mail packaged system is flawed, I had a package sent here and it was lost for weeks until I got a call saying they gave it to wrong person and the package had my address and name on it. The worst part, our upstairs neighbors are extremely loud, crying children until 4AM and stomp all throughout the night. Just for reference we've only lived here for 3 months and already want to leave. It's not worth your time or money.
2yrs of my life wasted in this dump! Management and maintenance is absolutely horrible! Hole in my door that let bugs in was never fixed, mold in all of my air vents and a sinking hole under my sink, took them 3 times to fix my heater during the ice and snow storms, 14 days to fix my AC when it went out. Constantly having trouble with the old worn out mailboxes and a month later they still haven't given me my mail back. Management will either play dumb or be outright rude to you. RUN
I highly suggest you do not move into this complex. Management doesn’t care, does not return phone calls, always busy or headed out the door, corporate doesn’t respond. You’re just a number. Non-certified maintenance personnel are sent to ‘fix’ things. I’m currently on my 7th request to fix my air conditioning and I’m being ignored by the complex.
1. Dont trust good reviews, they give giftcards to residents that post them. 2. Rude and unhelpful property manager. When there is a problem she doesn’t care. 3. Complete lack of communication. More than 7 times in one year has the water been randomly shut off with no form of communication, they let you know the office is closed the day of, leaving a phone number that goes straight to voicemail to call in case of an emergency. 4. Maintenance requests are closed without being fixed. 5. Wouldn’t let us view the apartment until day before moving despite several attempts over the course of a month and a half. Sketchy.. 6. Changes in payment policy in middle of term with no updated lease, are they asking for a suit? 7. Poor response time on issues, went over a month without a working dryer for no good reason.
Please!!!! believe every bad review you see about this place. the management and staff are beyond rude and refuse to help when you need something fixed!! for the first 7 months of me living here i had zero hot water and they refused to come fix it. My dishwasher leaks water and when he came out to fix it he just looked at it for 5 seconds and then left and never came back. save your money and do not live here!! the property sucks and so does the staff.
We had no issues moving in and received all the help we needed. The prices are way better than most and way nicer than some of the more expensive properties. Staff has assertive employees, but they get the job done and have dealt with any questions or concerns we've had. They truly care about their residents and their properties.
Horrible property. Horrible property management. Going on 3 summers with no a/c. Believe every negative review you see about this place and it’s management co., Nova Property Network.
I would put negative stars if possible. We have had 10+ maintenance request in the last month. They refuse to fix the problem with our AC unit and just keep temporarily rigging it to work. Then 24 hours later it breaks again. We went three days in the middle of AUGUST (100 + degrees outside) with no AC. They finally gave us a window unit as a temporarily AC in the meantime until they get to ours, which they haven't and probably never will. Plus the AC window unit freezes after 20 probably of being on and automatically shuts off. This place is the worst. The management has not responded to my emails or requests. I would never let anyone one I know of sign a lease with this company. TERRIBLE APARTMENT COMPLEX AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY.
When renting I was really excited when I found this place. It looked nice and in a nice part of town. But as with every other apartment complex, when it comes to maintainence problem, them flat out told ME to figure out how to deal with it. That is just not the right or moral thing to do when you take that much money from people.
This place would be awesome if Amanda didn't work there. She is beyond rude! Talks down to you like she is better than everyone and she talks to her co workers the same way in front of residents. I feel sorry for them and anyone else who has to deal with her. Love my apartment and the rest of the staff but she really needs to go before she runs off good people
I highly recommend leasing here. Staff are great and helpful. Great area and I've had no issues while living here!
The Oxford Oaks Aparments are nice, no real complaints. They're cheaper than the dorms, close to campus, I could walk easily and everything is within 5 minutes driving. Utilities aren't included which isn't the most fun, but it's not hard to get everything figured out. Staff is polite. They allow pets, which is awesome.
