The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Overlook Point Apartments
Pros: Location is fantastic, in walking distance of many food shops and close enough to most of what you would want to do in San Diego! Getting something around here for this price is not easy. Cons: Property is poorly insulated, especially the bathroom, meaning it gets very cold at night and hot during the day. The heater also does not make the apartment the temperature on the thermostat, so if you put the temp to 75 for example, it will be ~70. The walls are thin enough that you can hear people in other apartments snoring at night. You need to keep the bathroom light/fan (because there is one switch to control both) for multiple hours after every shower to have any chance of the bathroom drying out. There are missing screws in doors, the "landlord's special" just paint over everything is peeling. Also, the management will try their best to nickel and dime you for as much as possible.
I've been a tenant for over a decade. The property has been sold during my tenancy, and management has changed several times. Ms. Mo and Dennis are top notch property managers--the best by far since the sale years ago. The units are mostly small, but the complex is well maintained. I have only one requirement where I live: peace and quiet between midnight and 9am. Unfortunately, a really inconsiderate noisy tenant moved in next door. Since the buildings are vintage and have no insulation, any amount of noise will be bothersome to neighbors. He didn't care. He was easily the worst of all 12+ neighbors I've had over the years. Mo addressed the problem and is genuinely concerned about her tenant's well being. Her and Dennis take their jobs seriously and are truly great people!
New management has taken over (2020) and they are extremely knit picky. There are better locations and better places for the price.
Ive been here 3.5 yrs and love it. The view of the airplanes taking off outta Lindberg is a nice amenity where else you gonna live in San Diego AND have a perfect view of SD Bay and the local airport
Very judgemental and lazy management. Lots of smokers, most windows don't shut properly and loud neighbors... awful
