Osprey Cove South Apartments

I do not recommend moving here. The apartment had a bug and roach problem. I would see more than 30 roaches a day. Having to wipe and clean everything once a day to “manage” the problem. I called the office multiple times and they never did anything. My refrigerator and freezer also went out and because the issue wasn’t “emergent” to the lady in the front office, it took two days to get it replaced causing me to replace $300 worth of groceries. Even tho the apartments are somewhat cheap. What you pay is expensive for the quality of apartment you live in.

I had the down payment done, and just needed to read and sign the lease. I read the lease, and on page ten was checked a additional $99.00 fee for "amenities". I called, and was told "... the $99 fee is the utility fee it covers Sewer, Trash, Pest Control and Basic Cable.". So whatever it says the rent is? Get ready, that stuff is NOT included in the rent, and will cost you another $99.00 ON TOP of the listed rent price. That raised the price higher than other locations I was looking at, so I walked away. Wish the website clearly listed this earlier and saved me the time and effort.

This is my girlfriend and I’s first apartment in Jacksonville. As you know it’s really hard looking for a place that’s affordable in North Carolina in general but thank goodness we came across Osprey Cove apartments. The office gave me so much information and I was able to ask so many questions until I felt comfortable. It was unbelievable the property has so many different spots for pets, and not to mention it’s a super quiet neighborhood. The office and the tenants have a lot of communication as well as great amenities and a price you really can’t beat. If it wasn’t for the knowledge Shaina or Asia or the busy workers of the maintenance men I don’t know where I would be at the moment , no complaints. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place I would recommend here hands-down.

Very respectful and helpful staff in the office . Anytime I need something fixed maintenance always comes in a timely manner . The costing to live in this apartment complex is very affordable especially with everything being expensive.

Lived here for 8 months. The maintenance is always a great help. Office staff are super helpful. They have a giant field area for kids to run and play in, a puppy area for your fur babies, and plenty of grills/picnic areas for summer fun.

Great complex to live in. Staff is very nice and helpful. And maintenance responds very quickly with any issue you may have. I’ve lived here over a year and have had no issues.

This is an affordable option in the Jacksonville area and is ideal for military families. We have had some problems with small bugs like cockroaches but the office tries their best to address them. There are often water shut offs a few times a month but don’t usually last for more than a few hours. It’s a nice neighborhood and is a great place to have a dog. We love walking our dog around the paths in the evening.

I’ve lived here less than three months and they’ve turned the water off over a dozen times, most without warning. It is infested with spiders and they say pest control will come monthly if you ask, but it is not true. Maintenance is horrible. Took a month to get a sink that didn’t leak, another month to get a drawer put back in and my window is still broken from when I moved in. Horrible place to live.

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Anytime I have needed anything they have always been very efficient with responding timely. Great little spot.

Apts are affordable and look nice upon entry, staff is always willing to help, maintenance will be out the next day if needed! Would recommend!

Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Office and maintenance very nice. I like privacy living in an apartment it's hard but people stay to themselves here.

yes the apartments here has there ups and there downs just like anywhere you go but for me I've really enjoyed it me an the maintenance guys get along and talk anytime i see them i have kids so it has been a great place and slower pace lifestyle rather than the city we are from its a safe area even have other family members that have an apartment over here the staff have always been understanding 1 time i was a little late on rent i went up there talked to the manager she was very understanding and was happy i told her and explained what was going on after that I have been on top of rent and on time they even allow you to pay extra so the next month will be even cheaper for you overall the apartments are nice and my experience has been great plan on renewing my lease when this one is up

I love living here! The people are friendly and it’s quiet most of the time. The grounds and maintenance are kept up too. I do not do bugs so I love the quarterly Terminex that we get for inside our homes.

It’s a great place to get your foot in the door for being on your own. They’re very helpful when something goes wrong in the apartment and do their best to get things taken care of on time. They’re also pet friendly which is great and don’t charge a crazy amount to allow dogs or cats.

My wife and I chose these apartments as our first place to live because it was affordable and the office staff gave us a lot of confidence in the new management. After living here for a year we are incredibly impressed with the quality and service we have received. They are very pet friendly and maintenance is usually very quick to respond.

Perfect apartments for service members because, you have Camp Lejeune 15 mins away and New River base 2 mins away. The apartments are nice and the staff are very helpful. Overall great place to live for service members or families.

We have been here almost a year and love it. The office staff is nice and helpful. The parking is great and they always keep the grounds looking good. I am so glad we found this place.

I feel safe here. Within walking distance to work so that's a pro. Very sweet and understanding staff. Made move in really easy.

We’ve lived here for a few months now and are really happy. They’re decent apartments for the price, we can always find a parking spot near our unit and anytime we have an issue it’s always fixed in a timely manner. I’ve only had good experiences with the management staff and the maintenance guy in particular is fantastic, quick to respond to work orders and very polite. A HUGE step up from how these apartments were under the old owners.

The one bedroom apartment is great a great value for the space as long as you don’t have too much junk that you are trying to store. The stove and fridge are a little out of date but work great for what they are. The fridge is almost a regular size fridge but doesn’t fill the fridge space in the kitchen. The employees in the office are extremely nice and pleasant. The maintenance staff is also great, just wish the response time could be faster. Had an issue with the door handle coming loose and ended up just buying a screw driver to fix it my self.

Osprey cove is affordable and near everything you need. The privacy is great , plenty of room to walk your furry friends , great amenities, & the front desk workers are amazing & work fast. The people are friendly & i have not yet had a problem. If there is any issue with your apartment they work hard to get that fixed. Wouldn’t want to live in any other apartment.

The apartment has old bones, thin walls, older appliances; however it is very clean and the old bones are sturdy. The neighborhood is quiet and super nice neighbors. People at the front office are extremely nice and willing to answer every question you have and clearly as possible. Water and cable are included. Living rooms are really spacious. You are getting what you paid for but its not a bad deal by any mean. Definitely recommend if your are moving out for the first time. It is a good starting place.

Horrible new management. They dont give notice for anything! Not even blocking off the only exit for the back half! Or ripping off our doors at 8am and waking us and our baby up! Auto pay doesnt work still and they arent fixing it! Trash has been piled for months! Literally looked like a furniture junk yard! It's cheap for a reason. But this new management ran it further into the ground.

i am new to Jacksonville,nc. stopped here to checked out the apartments. these apartments are so outdated with outdated appliances. employees were unfriendly. the apartments had old carpet and sad painting. i moved up on western blvd better quality apartments, better neighborhoods, better schools, and better shopping.

Typical slum of an apartment complex. They are ran by staff who think they are always correct and your issues are not important. For example I had a service dog who is also a restricted breed on their list, I provided all the required paperwork by federal law, but they told me that the animal was still not allowed on the property. Like I'm sorry I guess the management is above the law. As for your deposit you can kiss that goodbye, I moved out and of course the apartment was cleaner than when I moved in, but according to the management it needed to be redone. Military and all others do whatever you can to stay away for this place!!

My apperment makes me feel at home. Some times we struggle with our rent though .we have a great place here but we would like help with our rent were just getting started in life and found out I'm pregnant with our first child.we are having problems with our pregnancy and money we would really like help.
