Stretching north from Allentown along the Lehigh River to Spring Street, Whitehall is a family-friendly township with terrific shopping and a fascinating history. Along MacArthur Road, Whitehall’s “Golden Strip,” you’ll find the vast Lehigh Valley Mall, one of the region’s largest indoor malls, as well as Whitehall Mall and several strip plazas. This is also where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, from local favorites like Whitehall Diner to popular chains and mall staples.
Formed in 1752, Whitehall was supposedly named for a hunting lodge in the area. Lynford Lardner, the lodge’s owner, painted it with a whitewash and although the lodge was named “Grouse Hall,” everyone referred to it as the “white hall.” One of the historic landmarks in Whitehall, the Helfrich Springs Grist Mill, was built in 1807. Today, it is owned by the Whitehall Historical Society and is open to the public for special events, scheduled tours, and monthly meetings.

Property Ratings at Orchard Hills
We have been living at Orchard Hills for almost two months. We saw the other reviews for this complex but we decided to see for ourselves. We are so thankful we did. Our 2 bedroom apartment is large (1,013 sq. ft.) and you can also rent a large storage locker. Nice, quiet neighborhood, friendly residents. Cindy and Penny (office personnel) are kind and helpful, always made us feel welcome when we stopped in. We had a few very minor issues that required maintenance. They were prompt, efficient and friendly. We would suggest you visit Orchard Hills and see for yourself.

The apartments are huge and you have so much more space than you would expect, given that the rent is super affordable. The neighborhood is quiet. We’ve had no issues with neighbors or management since we’ve moved in. We love it here :)
Centipedes All over the apartment, paint chips fall all over so be careful if you have kids. Loud Never hood. My car got broken twice and some other I see car got broken. They will take your SECURITY DEOPSIT AND CHARGE YOU $500 extra just for cleaning they say even tho Apart is very clean with no damage at end.

I have been living in these apartments for a year now and i love it . It’s so quiet and the one bedrooms have significant amount of space. You will always have a parking space as well.

I am very happy to have stumbled upon Orchard Hill apartments. I love the fact that there are so many different models to chose from. My roommate and I are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment and have been 100% sold on these apartments. The model that we saw is the most upgraded apartment, and we decided that we are going just one level below that one (we really don't need the hardwood floors, wed prefer carpet). The new upgraded kitchen will be apart of our unit and we are so excited. The new kitchen and upgraded bathroom vanity makes for a super modern look. I will post another review upon moving in, but for now I can say ALL SYSTEMS GO!

The rent is reasonable, but the apartment itself outdated from the 70's, kitchen has harvest gold, bathroom and kitchen counter tops are all marked up. On the bright side, it has a washer & dryer and it is a quiet and safe neighborhood. Wish it had a pool for the children
