Downtown San Rafael is the heart of the city. This historic district is laden with landmarks, including several spots that were included in some of George Lucas’ early films before creating the iconic Star Wars franchise. Similar to other city centers, Downtown San Rafael is trendy, lively, and eclectic. I have lived here for almost 5 years. The staff has been the best yet. Blair is amazing. Always there to help you with questions. Takes time to stop what she is doing. The best manager. Thayer is incredible. Super fast a fixing whatever you need. Always has a smile on his face. Very positive and loves to stop and pet my dogs. I am super proud and happy to have these wonderful staff now

It’s a pretty nice place, and the people here are generally kind and keep to themselves. It’s walking distance to all the restaurants on 4th st. Lots of homeless in this area though.

Trying to give a shout out to the maintenance crew but it led me to some place that I don't know where I'm at so I'm going to try it anyway! Thayer is the bestest politest most knowledgeable maintenance person I have ever seen and I've been here for five plus years I've gone through a lot of management Thayer is really kind he's courteous he stops to take time to talk to you and he knows what the hell he's doing when it comes to fixing things! And as for the guys that clean up outside and are are sweeping and mopping the floors and empty in the garbage and just doing regular maintenance every time I speak with them they're polite they're kind they're happy it's just it really makes this place nice to live at! Seriously this is a really nice place to live!

So far so good.. maintenance is great here, quick and efficient. Loving living close to downtown a lot of options to do. Just my next door neighbors I know have had issues that have escalated. But overall I’m happy.

So far not bad! But the application process took much longer than was necessary. Not being able to speak to a person and only communicate via text was a huge blocker and time suck. That part of the process almost pushed us out. But in person, things are pretty good. It's only been day 3, but so far, ok!

I like living here so far. Very close to downtown restaurants and bars, close to the freeway, and about 15 minutes from multiple cool spots.

Thayer is amazing with apartment maintenance. The building has amazing amenities as well, including a hot tup, gym, barbecue and dog run where residents can socialize and connect.

The community living area is good but I wish the building parking was not $100 per month and it had charging for cars. But other than that, I like the other features the apartment community provides.

I enjoy living at the lofts very much. The people who work here are always very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The place is in good shape , and it’s a great location. My only complaint (which has improved sooo much) is the occasional excessive volume of the neighbors, inside their apartments as well out in the common area (which is right under my living room window), and their dogs. But like I said, it’s improved dramatically, and has made for a much more pleasant overall experience! I’ll also say, as I’ve said on a few other reviews, that Thayer is amazing. He has helped me multiple times, most recently jump starting my car more than once. He is always kind, respectful, and reliable, and I appreciate him immensely!

This place is pretty nice and feels safe, but I wish managment was onsite. Other than that the maintenance here is good and the dog park is nice and so is the lounge area.

I’ve been living in this community for 3 years, and I’ve had a great experience throughout my tenancy. The maintenance staff is incredibly fast, reliable, and always professional. I truly appreciate how responsive they are! It makes a big difference in feeling comfortable and cared for in my home.

No issues living here for the most part. Car parking assigned next to me sometimes parks too close to my car/spot. Didnt get to take too much advantage of the amenities. Issues with anything gets promptly addressed. No issues with communications. There use to be an issue of dog owners letting their pets poop on the stair case sometimes a couple of months after moving in, but have not seen it happen again afterwards.

Safe space, very convenient. Package lockers are nice and new spa area is a nice bonus. Neighbors are friendly. Maintenance is taken care of quickly. Leasing office is a little lax about responding to emails

Found cockroaches day 1 and the manager is non-responsive. This is not a good management company. The space is lovely but expensive. If this location had better management, my review would be quite different.

Place is great, location to be able to walk to everything is awesome. They keep the facility up to par and clean. Nice communal areas that include hot tub, bbq and dog area.

It's a great neighborhood. Love the environment. Staff is very helpful and easy to contact. Really would recommend this apartment. There's parking available inside or outside. Very peaceful. The park is across the street for my kids to play. Close by to a grocery store.

People and management are friendly. Amenities are fine. In unit washer dryer is great. Walls are kinda thin I can hear voices but not what they're saying. Uses electronic locks which is the biggest downside for me. Memorize your codes.

Totally 100% love this place since the new management took over! Love the workout room the hot tub the little swimming pool the tables and the chairs and the dog run! And your maintenance man is the best I've ever seen! It's been pretty good experience. If there needs something to fix the work order is easy and gets done right away. The only downside is not being able to pay earlier.

I have been overwhelmed by the amount of freedom I discovered at the One55 Lofts community. I have high ceilings : ) I have a spacious bathroom for myself : ) I have perspective solitude : ) I was happy when I came across someone in the hot tub the other night. First day we arrived, unpacking and within the first ten minutes of being in our new home, we find cockroaches. A year after in we continue to find them and have had like 6 pest spray downs where we have to take EVERYTHING out of our cupboards and leave our home all day for them to do the spray only to come back and the roaches are back out again. We’ve told them if they don’t do this whole building, it’s never going to go away and they just don’t listen. They want the “easy” route.

So far so good.. neighbors could a little loud but overall I’m happy. Trash gets picked up every night and parking is worth it. Definitely thinking about staying staying long term.

I enjoy living l at 55Lofts. I am happy and grateful for Thayer!!. If I could suggest, I was wondering if the dog park could have another smaller fence around it as my dogs are skinny enough to escape the dog park as they try to chase after other dogs. Aside from that I’m very happy living here. It’s beautiful, wish rent was cheaper lol

The administration has been very prompt and responsive whenever there’s an issue. They also explain anything you have questions to in detail when asked (specific items on the bills).

Just moved to San Rafael and so happy that I found a place to live like 155 lofts. I've lived here for 3 months and ive been enjoying the strong community of residents. The team at 155 lofts are incredible and have made it a safe and fun place to live. Highly recommend this great location - close to downtown and is in walking distance to anywhere in San Rafael.

The lofts are very nice and the lounge here feels very relaxed and peaceful. I'm renting a 1 bd and bth loft. Its pretty spacious area for me and my son 5yr old. The neighbors are nice as well .

At first it was a little uncomfortable but it's much better under this management. Very good at responding to service calls. Nice and quiet and clean.

A prime location. Close to EVERYTHING! The community is pet friendly, has a hot tub, small gym area and new patio/grill area that I'm looking forward to using!

Automated management makes it somewhat difficult to have anyone respond in the immediate moment, which can lead to frustration as if something happens after hours, you're stuck with an automated response which is no help. However, once management does respond, they are quick, effective, and attentive for the most part. Some issues are long standing such as roaches and no matter what we've done, they are impossible to get rid of. However the apartments are spacious with high ceilings, with enjoyable amenities such a dog park, community grill, and hot tub which improve on the resident experience here.

Overall good, I’m not a fan of the trash service, they come irregularly and at very late hours, and leave messes. Thayer is great. They send a lot of emails.

Great place to live in. Such beautiful place and quiet. Store are near you you can even walk instead of driving far for groceries I really recommend.

Luxury ???? after six months, I’ve already seen roaches numerous times in my apartment. We have some very questionable tenants living in the place, constantly having transient in and out of their apartment, smoking cigarettes, leaving the door open, and you can see what a toxic place it is not to mention neighborhood is a dump.

I really enjoy the new dog park! its beautiful to look at and its nice to have an area dedicated to our pups. My only concern is that my dogs can fit through the bars of the fence and will escape to chase other dogs.

Unexpectedly I moved from Austin, Texas and was pressed for time and convenience. The application and leasing process was so streamlined and easy that it removed all the stress from moving so quickly. The staff here has been excellent as the response time is very quick and professional. I continue to receive VIP treatment with every engagement. I was a little nervous about city sounds keeping me up at night but with windows closed my home is so quiet. A new hot tub and bbq/patio has just been built making living even more comfortable. Perfect location as it is in walking distance to everything. I'm really enjoying the location and space.

The 1 bed and 1 bathroom loft unit is amazing. Very modern and clean lstyle apartment. It is cozy size for bedroom. The kitchen is convenient and simply. The apartment itself is quiet and peaceful.the BBQ area and fireplace looks comfortable and fun as well.
